Lucas has a dark past. He lived in a controversial cult village. As a child a group of men killed his best friend due to a misunderstanding during a mob. He shouted at the men in defense of his friends. They tricked him into thinking he was getting a house as children were able to live on their own and hid explosives in the trees. They caused a massive forest fire to chase him out of their village. He was severely burned and only after years of surgery given to him by his adoptive father, he now looks normal to himself.
