Chapter 5

Hera Palace

The twins were studying in the study room, they were nervous about facing their father. When they came from school, they hurried to their rooms so they wouldn't have to face him, yet.

Seok Kyeong couldn't focus on her work, even less than usual. She broke the silence bu asking her bother "How do u think father will handle the situation?" He was focused on his books but responded  "I don't know, I overheard him talking to mom before they left."

Seok Kyeong stopped writing "Wh- what did u hear? What were they saying" Her hand began to shake a little, that always happened when she was stressing out. Seok Hoon noticing her fingers losing the grip of the pen, scooted over to her.

He sighed, "Mother said that she feels it's her fault for not looking out for us these past few weeks. That she's the reason for our behavior." Seok Kyeong's eyes widened. "So she knows she's been neglecting us to take care for her other daughter..." she whispered.

Seok Hoon patted her head, "Kyeong, don't feel sad. At the end of the day it doesn't matter what she does because you have me. I'll always be here for u, no matter what happens or who leaves."

She let out a sigh and nodded "U are all I have Seok Hoon. It's us against the world." he smiled at her and pouted. "You're right, us against the world."

They both got a notification on their phones, it was the group chat. Eun Byeol texted them for an emergency meeting down the play hall.

"What does she want." Seok Hoon said annoyingly. "You " Seok Kyeong said laughing. "Not funny Kyeong."

Play Hall

"Eun Byeol-a, why did u text us? I was just about to slaughter the dragon king." Minhyuk said busy playing a game on his phone. Jenny entered the room "I swear you better have something good to say, I was going to have a bath." she said rolling her eyes and sitting next to Minhyuk on the sofa.

"Jennjenn, look I'm on level 28 now." Minhyuk showed her his game but got shrugged off by her. "I don't care, I don't talk to someone who doesn't even respond on my text messages." "Hu? you texted me?" He closed his game and went to his messages. "Shit, I really didn't see your message. Mother was giving her daily speech about how me and dad never help her out."

Jenny didn't believe the excuse and looked away. "Jennieee, oh come on." Minhyuk said shaking her arm softly. He was trying to act cute and that sure had an effect on Jenny. She looked at him and couldn't hold her smile anymore.

"Next time you better answer directly. If you leave me hanging for more than 2 minutes I will throw away your aot manga collection."

"I will" he said smiling stupidly but lowkey scared cause he knew Jenny would do something like that. "Ugh, get that stupid smile of your face ." she said pinching his cheeks. The duo was back on track. "Now show me your game", he excitedly opened his game and showed her.

"Seok Hoon!" Eun Byeol said excited looking at the door seeing the twins enter. Seok Kyeong rolled her eyes "Uhu, don't be to excited to see me to" she mentioned sarcastically.

Everyone knew Eun Byeol had a thing for Seok Hoon, but Seok Hoon found her rather annoying and weird. He didn't fully blame her for it, but more her crazy mother and how she raised her.

"What is it that u wanted to say to us" she got interrupted daydreaming by Kyeong.  She was secretly admiring the boy. How does he always look so classy, she thought dreamingly.

"Earth to Eun Byeol" Minhyuk snapped his fingers in front of her face. She stuttered "oh euh yes, I texted u all to tell that I heard my mother talking on the phone earlier. They're gonna frame Rona's mother for approaching Min Seol A."
