The Kiss

  I was still kissing Cody and then I pulled away and he smiled. I smiled as well and then his face got worried.

   "Cody what is it?" I asked.

"You have to go,you can't be here." Cody said.

" what do you mean?" I said.

He reached for my hand and I placed it in his hand, "Zack is dangerous."

  "I know he is,but I don't care. I don't want him to hurt you."

   " No,I don't want him to hurt you Isabella,he may have said he wouldn't,but he would."

    "Look I can take care of myself and he's sleeping right now and before he wakes up,I just wanted to tell you bye." 

  "Bye?" Cody asked with a puzzled look on his face.

"Yeah...I'm leaving."

"No you can't,I just found you.I need you here Isabella." 

"If I'm with you Zack will probably hurt you and if I'm with him,you'll be upset. Its better if I just leave." 

  "No please Isabella stay,I won't be upset if you stay with Zack,I promise." 

"Cody,this is for me as well."

"I know,I'm being selfish.I really wish you wouldn't go though." He said kissing my hand.

"I have to,but before I do.You said the accident wasn't an accident,What did you mean by that?" 

"Well um,please don't hate me after this." Cody said

"Never." I smiled concernedly.

Cody sat up even more and took a deep breath, " I think that was the day I came back,but I didn't even say hey because I couldn't get to you in time. Zack was there though,I think he got upset that you were leaving without him,no you didn't say bye and ya'll secretly broke up. Your parents didn't know or our parents didn't know. Like a friendship breakup or whatever. So Zack didn't want you to leave so..he put out some tire buster spikes and you guys flipped and ended up hitting a tree. I think you got whiplashed and you hit your head pretty hard,hint the memory loss." 

   "How do you know this?" 

"Zack's my brother,he told me,well last year." 

"You didn't turn him in? My mom had to fight for her life and so did my dad." I said getting angry. 

    "He's my brother,I'm sorry Isabella,I didn't know how to. I thought he was just kidding,look you can't tell anyone." Cody said.

"What do you mean don't tell anyone?! Cody,your brother almost killed my family because I wanted to end our friendship.Our freaking friendship which I was believe was fake anyways. He's been lying to me,he photoshop his head on those pictures,he needs help. He tried to kill you,he tried to kill me. What the heck,he needs help Cody. He needs a counselor." 

  "Are you going to tell him?" 

"No,I'm leaving. You know what,I just wanted a new job as a assistant and now here I am in the hospital with my ex boss/ex friend/ex fiancé twin brother who really loved me,but can't love back because they don't want to hurt anyone's feelings." I said crossing my arms.

   "You did just kiss me,so that counts for something." He smiled.

I looked away to hide my smile and then looked back at him with a cold face, " Cody that kiss was meant years ago. I've always loved you,but this is just to much. I'm not risking anyone's life for a relationship. Its not worth it. Me and you were talking and look where you are now,because of me. I'll see you later Cody." I said turning away from him.  

  "Isabella wait." He said. He still had my hand,but pulled me closer to him.

   "I have to go before Zack shows up." I said.

  "One more kiss?" He asked.

I leaned down and kissed his cheek and my eyes got watery. "I love you Cody Mitchell Crenshaw." 

   "I love you Isabella Lee Jones." Cody smiled.

I smiled back and left. I couldn't take my car,I felt like Zack put a tracker in it. I saw this nice couple and I asked if they wanted to switch cars. They had a beetle and I had a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon. They looked like they were expecting. 

  "Excuse me?" The woman asked.

"I want to trade cars with you."

"Our beat up beetle for your new G-wagon? Are you running from someone?"

"No,I mean kind of,this guys tracking me?"

"He's not dangerous is he,we have kids?"

"No, he won't give you any trouble. He wouldn't dare have his face show up anywhere." I smiled.

They looked at each other and the woman said, "we did want a bigger car for our soon to be family." She said pointing at her belly.

  "Aww congratulations." I smiled.

"Thank you,okay,we'll trade cars. She's a tough girl." The woman said.

"Think of it as a early baby gift." I smiled and also gave them 500 dollars.

 I left in their car and headed to the airport. Please don't let anything happen to that couple God.

   I bought a plane ticket under a different name and paid with cash. This life was over with Zack and regular Isabella was about to return.
