Chapter 17: Not Accepted

LUCY's POV

We went to the signing up booth or whatever to put our names there. Erza enumerated all of us: Natsu, Me, Gray, Juvia, Jellal, Erza, Gajeel, Levy, Mirajane, Laxus and Elfman. She also said our magic but only me is accepted in the Grand Magic Games.

"Why can't you accept us?" Erza asked

"It's because almost all of you has the same magic with the ones who signed up yesterday to participate for Fairy Tail A." The register man said. Wait... Where are Nashi and her comrades?

"Who are those who signed up yesterday?" Erza asked

"They're Nashi and Naru D., Blake and Guia F., Elsa and Eric F., Jill and Lizette R., Jane and Alex D., and Greenman S." The register man enumerated. They're are all part of Nashi's comrades.

"Alright. Arigato." All of us walked away

We found Nashi and her comrades sitting on a long bench. We approached them. Maybe we should ask them about what happened a while ago.

"Did you already sign up?" Nashi asked

"Yeah! But it's only me who is accepted." I replied

"Nani? Why?" They all asked

"It's because almost all of you have the same magic with us." I reasoned out

"Gomen'nasai minna. Because of us, you're not accepted." Nashi's comrades all apologized and bowed really low

"It's okay. At least, we got you, kids." Erza said, trying to cheer them up

"Uhm... Can I go somewhere else?" Elsa asked

"Where will you go, sister?" Eric asked

"I'll just buy something." Elsa answered, running somewhere.

"Ohh.. I know it already." Eric replied

"Huh? What will she buy?" I asked

"Something she really wants to eat and she would give her whole life for." Eric answered. After a few moments of waiting for Elsa, she finally arrived with a gigantic box beside her.

"How many?" Nashi asked

"30." Elsa answered

"30?!" Nashi's comrades said

"Oh my Earthland! You broke your record! From 26, it's now 30!" Nashi exclaimed. Huh? What are they they talking about?

"What did you buy?" Erza asked

"Strawberry cakes!" Elsa exclaimed

"Strawberry cakes??? I think I should buy one now." Erza said. Uh oh, her cake spirit is awakened.

"Elsa-chan can't beat her mo-." Blake was cut off by Nashi by covering his mouth. What's happening?

Nashi glared at Blake and beat him up into pieces. I think that Nashi is giving him a don't-you-dare look. Blake apologized to Nashi. They look so kawaii together. Wait... Why am I shipping kids couples? Ha! I've been infected by Natsu's idiocy. What has gotten into me. We all gave them a confused look.

"Uh... Gomen'nasai minna-san. We'll never do that again." Nashi and Blake apologized

"It's okay. By the way, where's Erza?" I asked

"Erza-san went to the cake shop, Lucy-san." Juvia said

"Okay. Let's just wait for her to come back." I said

We waited for her to come back. I noticed Elsa was already finished eating her cake. She stood up and went somewhere, carrying her box full of cakes. We waited them until Erza and Elsa came back. It's almost night.

"Hey guys! It's already late. I think we should go home now." I informed them

"Yeah. You're right Lu-chan." Levy said

We went home and Grand Magic Games is coming already. I should prepare for this fight. I have to win for Fairy Tail.
