There will be a maximum of 5 parts per chapter so away it will be easier for me to make each full chapter at least or a little below 4,000 words.

The Major Defeat

꧁_____________꧂

I let my body lead me to the Arch-illager's castle, one of the places where I did not know my defeat would be horrible and with an unexpected twist. My sword drags against the ruined battlefield in front of the throne room. I was ready, it looked cold, but from what I have experienced, I should have low expectations.

You would slowly open the door, as the wave of heat and the glamorous furniture dazzled your mind beyond the grave. Your eyes widened in surprise at everything that was there, and you wondered, how long did it take these people to make this possible? You should not Wonder anymore, you needed to get to your goal no matter what, gladly befriending a few of the illagers on the way there. Your breath was slow as you got closer to the throne room having to hide when you got close enough that they heard the footsteps stop.

The Arch-illager did not know you were there, but he heard the footsteps stop quickly, as he did notice that the castle got a little colder, from a left open door? You the hero should have thought more clearly of your actions.

"I heard Footsteps, but where did they come from?" Said the Arch-illager who put his arms up onto the armrests and pushed himself up he was wearing his formal wear.

He wore a Bright Navy-Blue robe, which had long sleeves, that had fur at the bottom and the end of the sleeves and had a Yellow trim where the opening of the robe had been. Why you called it a robe was because he had it over his back and the sleeves were not on. You could mention that he wore a dark green shirt with black pants. He had a necklace, the stuff rapping around his neck would be the golden chains, and the end, which was the front had a ruby in the golden area. He had black high-heeled boots that placed him at 5'9 at height, the bottom, the more hidden park was a Dark Pink, then boots were made to fight in.

His skin was grey, but an exceptionally light grey. His eyes were black and had a Purple tint to them. His black hair was long, and looked soft and silky, took better care of his hair. He also had that big crown on his head, it was about 5 inches tall [because the original crown is a block tall]and had a sapphire and ruby on the front. You were in a total disposition, seeing that he was Freighting, but only a little.

"I don't know sir, the pillagers were doing each other's hair this morning before they left, but they didn't find any threats." Added an Illager, who seemed to just want to help.

"The Other hero doesn't have a chance against me don't they, after all, I know that they are here. They are just doing somewhere I cannot see them, and I can see where they are with my orb. "He would say to himself, loud enough for you to hear, as you watch his eyes look your way.

"Shit, he knows I am here, what am I going to do?" You said to yourself very quietly as you looked at him, you had to breathe in and out before revealing yourself quietly.

"Yep, right here, you caught me...ha-ha, but seriously was I being too obvious?" You said looking at him. You were not scared of him, at least yet. You crossed your arms as you watch him leave.

"Before I go, you better prepare yourself, hero, before you fight me. I will be at the top of the Pinnacle when you get there, we fight, no expectations." He demanded as he had a sly smile as he left, staff with the orb in his hand.

"Good Luck (Name), you will need this," says Charlie, one of the illager friends you made. He gave you 30 arrows and a healing potion.

"Take it, you will need it, the potion is a gift from Evan, he wants to thank you for getting those ink sacks for him." He would put his arms behind his back as he smiled and watched you walk up the stairs.

Your heart hurts, but you had to do the right thing, and that was beating the Arch-illager. You would not kill him, rather you would help him get back to a better self. It would be the best thing you could do for The Arch-illager. You would walk up to the area where he was, unbuttoned the button that had to keep the cloak on as the cloak would fly away in the air. Your sword in hand, and finally you stood in a comfortable position.

The Arch-illager illager would smirk and would start to let out a laugh that chilled you to the bone. The laugh was a laugh that shows how he was not afraid of the people anymore, or how the orb corrupted his heart. It was scary, but you should not be afraid anymore.

You were about to fight the Arch-illager.

More of the reason for you to attack him first, you would swing your sword at him as he would block your attack with his staff. It clashed together as Sparks would come from the weapons clashing, the sound of metal in Their ears. You two would back up after the pressure on the metal seemed, a little too much. He would then use the orbs magic to summon a little magic thing that aimed right at you, you dodged the first three, but you were still hit by the other ones. You would try to hit him with your sword, once again he would stop your sword but still took damage due to him grabbing the sword by his hand.

You saw the dullness in his black eyes, they were empty, with purple showing that the orb had corrupted the illager. You did not know if there would ever be a way to fix that, stuck in your thought process, you had not realized that the Arch-illager was about to attack you. You look at his dull expression as he started to smile slowly. He hit you in bed head with his staff, you would be knocked into the floor, your first Undying thing was used, spite of this, you had regained full heal as you got up. You look at the Arch-illager and you would start loading your bow, one by one shooting arrows at him.

He dodged most of the arrows, some of them damaged his sides and one would slide past the side of his face, the blood seeps down against his cheek, which was where he frowned. He touched his cheek to see the damage, then looked at you, it seemed like from his expression, deep inside someone was talking to Archie, a force of evil, that may cause him to be affected, forever.

"I never thought you could be this strong, hero, but you will have to try harder than that because I am not going to give up, not over someone who had to use a totem of Undying," Archie told you, as he had a smile that reached ear to ear in seconds, you were not prepared for how strong he was.

Quickly, the Arch-illager would run towards you and would slide past you as you expected him to punch you, you had fallen over, and you saw his magic attack coming toward you, it was fire magic. Before you knew it, you felt like your life flashed before your eyes, a flashback was there.

"Oh [your name]! Dinner is ready!" Said a woman, with a soft and gentle voice. It was illager, she had taken you in, she had not been like the other illagers, she was sweet and caring.

"Coming mom!" you said, running down the stairs quickly to see the food was done. You smell the hot gumbo alongside the warm-looking vegetables and Gravy on the mashed potatoes.

"Get what you would like dear, it is your meal tonight, before you have to start tomorrow, what did you say it was?" She said looking at her, her gentle smile on her face.

"It is a job in the village! I get to protect some people for some emeralds, I finally get to be a guard! At least, that is what it was." You never thought that would the last night you have with your mother.

"MOTHER!" You yelled as you saw the home, the place you lived burn. It was horrible, you heard the screams of your mother, as you saw a man come outside. They laughed as they watched you cry, and they left you there to mourn over her death. You lost your only home, and family, twice.
