Aph's POV

It still kinda hurts, he moved on and didn't bother to tell me about it. I guess I've moved on as well, but he could've just told me. I mean we are best friends, aren't we? Let's get back to this already.

"So Lily, how did you two meet?"

"Class project last year, I admittedly fell head over heels for him."

He's happy with Lily.... wait that sounds familiar.... LILY? AS IN LILY FROM HIGHSCHOOL? She can't be

"Did you go to Phoenix Drop High Lily?"

"Yeah why?"

"You were a bitch to me!"

It is her, Aaron fell in love with her. I guess she must have changed when she got into college. What if she doesn't trust me? What if she is mean again? My mind is racing with thoughts about how bad this could turn out.

Yes, she was really rude and bitchy to a lot of people but now?

"Hold up..... Potato?"

I growl quietly at the mention of that old nickname. Oh Irene Aaron's gonna question this. It was dumb back then I hope we can get over it because I know how much Aaron cares about her. Shit what is she still hates me.

"Aphmau?"

"Lily"

My Irene if she goes back to hating me because I'm close to Aaron that will cause issues between us. I move closer to Garroth and whisper in his ear

"That's Ivy's cousin"

He looks at her and wraps his arms protectively around me. He's too cute, he'll never let anything happen to me. I don't know how to feel about all this right now

"Aphmau, I'm very sorry about how I treated you in high school, I was stupid in high school. Please don't let me affect your friendship with Aaron."

Aaron looks at her quizzically while I sit there in Garroth's arms and process what she just said. She sounded genuine. But how can I trust her. Aaron clearly does. I'm not Aaron but we have been friends for a long time.

"Lily... It's ok" I probably sound very unsure right now so Garroth hugs me tighter and Aaron takes Lily outside.
