No 10

One : Restart

It has been a month since Kuroha had to live with the Mekakushi Dan. He could still remembers how they all act when the Queen told them about the chance he got.

Flashback

Kuroha gives away an unpleasant face as he sat down on the cushioned furniture, watching the Dan huddled close with each other.

'So, he's given a second chance?'

Shintarou scrunched up his nose, astonished with the idea of Kuroha getting a second life.

'Yes! I-I think so!'

Mary clutched her hands together, she was feeling nervous.

'But..why does he have to lives with us?'

Kano bared his teeth. He himself was not comfortable with Kuroha since he killed him and the others.

'I-I don't k-know. I really d-don't.'

Mary stammered. Seto patted her head gently to calm her.

'Guys..don't talk like that to Mary.'

Momo said, shooting Kano a glaring look.

'It's not her fault or anything!'

She added. Kido stole a look at Kuroha and sighed.

'Fine. He can stay. As long as he doesn't do anything...'

Kido paused for a bit. All eyes were on her.

'.....bad.'

She finished. Kano smirked and was about to say something until he saw Kido shoot him a dirty look.

'Well then-ssu! Welcome to Mekakushi Dan, Kuroha!'

Seto smiled and nervously welcomed Kuroha. Kido's eyes glowed.

'You will be the tenth member. Of the Mekakushi Dan.'

Flashback End

Although the Dan was worried at first, they had still let Kuroha stayed. Somehow Kuroha warmed up to them even if he was acting cold and harsh.

The Dan was a bit busy. I mean..very busy. Last week, Momo told them that they should redecorate the hideout.

'And put numbers on each room according to the members number!'

She excitedly suggest to Kido.

'It doesn't sound too bad. What 'bout it, you guys?'

Everyone agreed and started to decorate the whole hideout in groups.

Kido wanted to be in charge for the kitchen. Ene helped her out with the designs. It turned out nice.

Kano and Mary was assigned to decorate the living room, where they always gathered. They did it well. Although it was a bit weird with the mix of bold colours and pink cushions.

Seto and Kuroha were at the lawn. Seto planted lots of flowers and small bushes around the lawn. Kuroha said it looked like a forest. Seto didn't argued. He was right.

Momo, Shintarou, Hibiya and Konoha was assigned to decorate the Dan's rooms. Momo wanted to decorate the rooms according to the Dan's personality.

After hours of cleaning and decorating, the Dan collapsed at the living room (Mary proudly showed them the pastel coloured cushion that she sew) and rested.

Kido's phone rang. She excused herself while the Dan chatted excluding Konoha and Kuroha.

Kido returned and tucked her cellphone into her jeans pocket.
