Aaaaaand, I'm back! I really like this, so I'll be mostly updating this. I love these stories though, so yeah! Anyways, on to the story!

Cassidy's POV

Hi, my name is Cassidy, and I'm a daughter of Athena. I've just been almost mauled by a giant, black, dog, and my best friend, Fred, is wounded and apparently has goat legs. Also, some weird grey sign was seen on top of my head, and Fred thought it was because I was a daughter of Athena. Yeah, it isn't exactly a good situation right now.

"HEY! Apollo, new camper, heal her up!" A voice shouted. I looked up and only saw a face with sea green eyes, black hair, and a mesmerizing smile.

"Thank you," I weakly say. He smiles and nods. My knight in shining armor is all I think about as I let the darkness take over my vision.

When I finally awaken, I see my knight again, and I smile. He and I are meant to be, I know it.

"Hey, my name's Percy." He softly says.

"Hi," I manage to stutter out. "You're the guy that saved me!"

"Yeah, well, I just carried you over the hill, then called for a healer. Not very hero worthy." He laughs.

"Doesn't matter, you still saved me." I say. He smiles tenderly, then shouted for some more ambrosia. Ambrosia?

"Here, eat this, it'll make you feel a lot better." He nudges a lemon square towards me. I nod and eat it slowly. It tastes great, like my favorite taste in the world. Fresh apple mixed with the tart sweetness of strawberries. When I finish the lemon square, all of my cuts have closed. I stare in wonder.

"It's ambrosia, the food of the gods. And you, Cassidy, are special." He tells me. I'm special to him! "Because you, are a demigod." Oh, just because of that-wait what!

"What?" I yell. He sighs.

"Here, let's go to the screen-room, then you'll watch the orientation video. It's of the giant war. So I did, and I came back a believer.

"They're real!" I cry out as soon as I find Percy.

"Oh! Hey Cassidy, let's go ahead to the training area. We need to get you comfortable with weapons." He tells me.

"Um, weapons?"

"Yeah, to fight off monsters like the ones in the videos, but thankfully, probably not that major." He explains.

"Let's go then," I nervously say, and he pulls me towards the training arena. When he lets go of me, I miss his warm hand holding mine, but I don't dare try to grasp his again.

"Come on to the weapons shed, so we can go ahead and pick out your weapon." He tells me while waving towards a shack. I happily follow, and find it stuffed with weapons. Swords, knives, bows, guns, everything. But what really draws my eye is a dagger, curved bronze, shining in the light. I pick it up and Percy looks over my shoulder.

"Looks like that's your weapon then, Cassidy. Most of the time, demigods find one weapon in here that they feel really comfortable with. This is yours then." He says.

"Cool, so where do I learn how to use this?" I ask.

"Well, your half-sister, another daughter of Athena is an expert at sword fighting, so you can learn from her, and I think she's just beginning to teach right now. Her name's Annabeth." He says while thinking. I can't help but think that he looks so cute when he thinks. I follow him outside, to where a group is clustered around a girl. And she's breathtaking.

"Who's she?" I ask.

"Oh, that's Annabeth, your half-sister." Percy replies, and I see the admiration in his eyes. I'm immediately jealous. He should be looking at me like that! We belong together! And Annabeth is no short from perfect. Apparently a good fighter, smart, she is a daughter of Athena, and pretty too, with tumbling blonde hair and calculating, yet pretty eyes. But I can be better.

"Okay then. How do you know her?" I ask.

"Along with many other things, she's my best friend, and we always fight together, even in the second titan and giant war." He says. No fair! But I am better.

"Hey Annabeth! I've got another Athena here, and she wants to know how to handle a dagger too." Percy shouts. Then, Annabeth's eyes land on my, and they stay there, if they were calculating my every move and how to destroy me, then they turn friendly.

"Hey, come on up...Um, what's your name?" She asks. She's nice enough.

"I'm Cassidy." I shyly say. Then I approach her. She slings an arm around me and whispers "you're going to love it here, I promise," into my ear. Somehow, even from a stranger, it makes me a little less intimidated.

"Now, fight me right now." She commands. Me? Fight her? Well, this is a chance to show Percy that I'm better than her.

"Okay then." I say, then back into the arena. We take our positions, and I lunge at her, and she easily deflects, only moving her arm. Then I attack many more times, but they're all blocked, then Annabeth lashes for wards and does some disarming maneuver for knifes, and hold my own knife against my throat. No! I should've won!

"And that, Cassidy, is your lesson in pride. Pride is dangerous, and you should only engage in fights you know you can win. But you can take risks sometimes. Fighting me, an experienced expert in the art of fighting with a knife, was not a good idea, as I would undoubtedly beat you." She lectures. But she's still right. "Now, Cassidy, watch Percy and I fight, because it's much longer and much fairer. Percy's going to show her!

"I never back down from a challenge, wise girl!" Percy says. Wise Girl? A pet name? I wonder what mine's going to be when Percy and I date...

Percy and Annabeth circle around eachother, and suddenly they engage in fight, seeming to read eachother's minds, and their fighting seems like sped up dancing. Clashes are heard as they swiftly and deftly fight. I'm amazed. Then, the heartbreaking moment comes, and Annabeth kisses Percy. How dare she kiss the guy I'm supposed to be with. Percy will push her away and then everyone will laugh at her, and Percy will come running to me and kiss me, saying he loves me, but it doesn't happen. Percy and Annabeth keep kissing, and my heart breaks.

"You belong with me Percy!" I shout. Percy and Annabeth slowly turn towards me. Annabeth is furious, and Percy is too.

"No, Cassidy, Annabeth and I belong together, and you don't even compare. We love eachother, we have gone through Tartarus together, I've turned down immortality for her, and you don't have any idea what she's given up for me. I love her, and I can't imagine being with anyone else than her." Percy says.

"But you do belong with, me, you saved, me , you're my knight in shining armor!" I protest. Annabeth narrows her eyes.

"No, he's my knight in shining armor. Cassidy, you have to understand that you have to work for a guy to like you, and we've worked. I love him, he loves me, and when he was in the river styx, and he had to think of one thing to ground him, he thought about me. I'm his other half, and I am his achilles heel, even when he doesn't have a physical point anymore. So don't even think that a girl like you could steal my Percy away from me." She boldly spoke. Then she picked up both of the weapons and help it to his neck. "Oh, and I win!" She says, and everyone cheers, while I run out, crying, because my true love doesn't love me back.

And done! Such a drama queen, but eh, pride of Athena, isn't it? Just comment below on what you think. Pretty Please? For a cookie? (::)
