"You have to be shitting me." You grumbled, pulling out the (F/C) dress (in the style of the dress above) from your closet. Chuck had, in fact, packed a dress for you. You glared at the dress like it had just insulted you badly. Rover came into your room then, and he looked at you, then at the dress, then back at you, then back at the dress. "Not. A single. Word." You growled, glaring at the robot. Rover slowly pulled out a polaroid camera. "Rover, NO!" You threatened, lunging towards him as he took a picture. The picture flew out of the camera and you dove towards it to try and recover it before Rover did. Rover grabbed it first and sped off, and you sighed, accepting your fate. You pulled off your clothes and tugged the dress on over your head before going into the bathroom and staring at your reflection in the mirror. "This is going to be awkward as hell," You said to yourself as you brushed out your (H/L) hair. You contemplated styling your hair, before deciding to leave it as it was before putting on some simple makeup (unless you hate makeup, just ignore that) and strolling out. You checked the time, smiling slightly. It was only 5:40,which meant that you still had about half an hour before you had to leave. You inhaled the fresh air and smiled before spinning around, letting your dress flow out around you (For anyone who is wondering, the photo got cut too short, the dress reaches just below your knees). You grinned up at the sky, taking in the huge planet above, barely noticeable if you forgot to look up while working. Despite certain asshats and annoying brothers, this planet was probably considerably better than Earth, and that was saying something. It was peaceful and beautiful..... you plopped down on a bench outside your base and drifted into your thoughts.

You blinked out of your thoughts, shaking your head before checking the time. 5:53. 5:53. "SHIT!" You shot up and darted towards the base, giving yourself a quick check for any missed zippers or smudged makeup before dashing out of the base and booking it towards the restaurant. Chuck was waiting outside, wearing something more fancier than usual, which, for Chuck, was rare. "I'll be watching you from a distance." Chuck informed you. "Creep." You teased. Chuck pouted. "I'm kidding!" You said, putting your hands up in mock surrender. Chuck smiled and gave you a light shove inside the restaurant. "He's already here, say you're with him." You sighed. There was really no turning back now. You nervously stepped inside the restaurant's waiting area, which was surprisingly almost empty, save a few people. "Miss, do you have a reservation?" The alien lady at the front desk asked you. You craned your neck slightly to look for Grawl, and sure enough he was sitting a a table in tha back corner of the restaurant, looking slightly nervous, but masking it well with mock boredom. "Oh, uhm, I'm with him." You gestured to the general. The alien lady examined you with slight jealousy and admiration. "You lucky girl. Follow me." The lady strided towards the table, and you followed in tow. Lucky isn't how I'd describe it... You thought bitterly to yourself as the two of you approached the table. General Grawl seemed slightly surprised at your appearance, a small blush coming across his face. You looked down at your shoes and sat down, biting your lip nervously. Your eyes quickly darted around to meet Chuck's, who was sitting across the room. He sent you a reassuring smile and a thumbs up, and your gaze returned to the menu in front of you. Grawl was examining his menu, choosing what to eat, no doubt.
You took the menu in your hands and began reading off of it silently. It seemed to have the same items that you had on Earth... but then again, some of it floated or glowed, but to hell with it I guess. You decided on what to order and set down your menu, nibbling your lip a bit, nervousness rising a bit in your chest. This was a dumb idea, hell, this was beyond stupid, it was just downright idiotic. You mentally made a note to slap Chuck on the arm for this later. Grawl set down his menu then, and seemed to be as nervous as you were. You gently cleared your throat, and he looked up at you. Here goes nothing! You thought, then said, "So... I guess we seemed to have gotten off on the wrong foot last time we met.... So let's start over?" You smiled nervously, mentally cringing at how nervous and awkward you sounded. The general seemed surprised, but then he shook his head a bit and nodded in agreement. "Well, I'm (Y/N) (L/N), and you are?" You asked, grinning and extending your hand across the table for Grawl to shake. "General Grawl, at your service. Pleasure to meet you, Miss (L/N)." Grawl smirked a bit. "Please, just call me (N/N)." The general's smirk widened a bit. You tilted your head back a bit to catch Chuck's eye, and he beamed at you. You winked at him and then returned your gaze to Grawl. "So, tell me about yourself, General."

"Anything else I can get you two?" The waiter asked you as you sipped the rest of your wine. Man, whatever they used to make wine here, it was good. "Just the check, please." You replied. The waiter nodded and disappeared back into the kitchens. "I can pay." Grawl offered. "Oh, you don't need to-" You started, but Grawl interrupted you. "Please, I insist. It's the least I can do after this amazing night." You blushed a bit, and nodded. Chuck was long gone, he had gotten bored and left. Guess that third-wheeling and watching your sister talk with her dinner date was boring. You smiled a bit, looking down at your hands and fidgeting with your fingers. "Thank you, Grawl." Grawl looked up from his watch. "Tonight was probably the best I've ever had." Grawl smiled warmly, pink tinting his cheeks. "No, thank you. It's been a while since I've done this... going out and taking a break from it all. It was... great." The waiter returned with the check, and Grawl payed quickly before standing up and offering his hand for you to take, to lead you outside. You stood up and took his hand, and he led you outside to the sidewalk. His hand felt warm, and you squeezed it subconsciously, staring at the huge moon in the distance. Grawl looked at you, surprised. You continued to stare at the moon, a slight breeze rustling your (H/L) hair a bit. The pink tint on Grawl's cheeks grew a bit before he cleared his throat. "I... I should p-probably get going..." You mumbled, and you turned to face him, and both of your hands moved away from each other. Yours fell to your side. "Oh... uhm, goodnight." Grawl said, looking a bit disappointed. "See you around, Grawl." And with that, the two of you went your separate ways. You went left, crossed the street, passed the high school, and reached the comic book shop, where Chuck said he'd be waiting for you. Once you believed you were out of Grawl's earshot, you squealed and pumped your fist in the air. "YES!!!" You cried, jumping up and down. "Oooooh.... Someone has a crush on the general~!" You heard Chuck say from behind you. You spun around quickly and blushed, before placing your index finger over your lips. "Shhhh. Someone might hear you."
