the coach put everybody on practice teams and adrian was on the other. the coach told mari to go on defense and the person he picked was adrian. he was doing this on purpose because he would love to see mari and adrian get closer.
"i- i but he's a tough guy and i'm small there's no way i could win." adrian heard her and said " well maybe i'll have to be the best i can so i can have that date." he would grin. mari would blush big time and then the coach started the clock. adrian got 4 baskets in and mari got 2. adrians team got 14 and the other got 8. from running around she was all out of breath and needed water. she walks over to the bench and sees that her water was gone. she sighed and whispered "i guess no water." adrian heard this and said "you can have some of mine." he would then grin again. "b-but your lips touched and you wouldn't want me-" he would cover he lips and shush her, he gave mari his water bottle and walked off. mari just sat there. she then took a sip and could taste his chapstick on the lid and she smelt it and then... adrian watched her. mari was embarrassed that he just caught her sniffing his water bottle and admiring it. she saw him walk over and he said "well well you must be very interesting in my lips i see."
"what! no! it was just i- "
" alright guys practice is over." the coach would clap and walk out of the gym.
"i'll pick you up at 7:30. " he would wink and walk out. mari would admire him walking out her eyes got bigger as she saw his model walk. she smiled and then tiki came out. "ma-"
"i know tiki this is amazing and embarrassing at the same time!" tiki chuckled and then said "well we better get ready for that date if yours!" she'd smile at mari.
