Kai's POV
It was Lloyd's birthday tomorrow. He was going to turn 18. I turned 19, 2 months ago so I wasn't much older than Lloyd.

I wanted to make this birthday special for him, because.. I developed new feelings for him. Every time we celebrated Lloyd's birthday, I still loved him but never thought it would happen. I still don't.

"Guys, get down here now!" I yelled. Lloyd was shopping with his mother and it was the perfect time for me to discuss a surprise party for Lloyd. Misako took him out so we could make a plan.

Lloyd had no idea about his birthday since he was the green ninja and was too busy.
"What do you want. Me and Nya were having such a good time." Jay replied. I glared at him because I warned him not to eat my sister.

"Its Lloyd's birthday tomorrow, we need to make this his best birthday since he's turning 18."

"That means cake" Cole said and looked like he was craving for it.

"Zane's got the best ideas, let's ask him." Nya said.
"I have lots of ideas. We will start the Bday in the morning for a full day."
"Thats great Zane, I knew I could count on you." I replied in excitement.

"Wow Kai, your never really this happy on our Bday's or even Nya's, why on Lloyd's?" Cole asked as the rest chuckled. Kai blushed a deep shade of red.

"Because, because he's turning 18." I yelled. I didn't want them to know even though they already did.

"Back to work. Zane"
"Yes. We will have Lloyd's favourite cake, chocolate cake with baked sweets. Cheese and tuna sandwiches for the party with lots of coke. Cole, you will be the DJ and play a romantic song for Kai and Lloyd."

"Zane. Can we just focus." I was getting annoyed. Its because whenever they said that, it saddened me knowing I would never be with Lloyd.

"But you always tell me to have a sense of humor." Everyone made roasting sounds. If it wasn't for Lloyd's birthday, I would have tied them up and put a fire ball next to them.

"There will be a dance floor and we will invite all the elemental masters. At night, we'll have a firework display of colours green and red." I frowned at Zane. Maybe Zane would do good without humour.

"Alright then, what are we waiting for. Jay and Cole can get the decorations, and don't snog ok, Me and Zane will make the Cake and food while Kai gets the fireworks. We will get gifts tomorrow.

The next day - Nyas POV at 6AM
I worked extra hard for this party to be the best. I knew how much Lloyd meant to Kai and he loved him. But I'm sure they will get together sometime.

"Cole, Jay, these decorations are really nice, but why are your clothes and hair scrunched up?" I frowned. I knew they loved each other too so I let them kiss each other sometimes. Nothing else because Jay was mine.

Kai had bought the fireworks and set them in the backyard. Me and Zane finished decorating the chocolate cake covered in chocolate ganashe with cookie crumbles and frosting on top. There was an 18 candle in the middle and a Happy Birthday Lloyd sign.

Cole was practising his DJ music while me and Kai put up the decorations. There was a long table in the middle with sweets and chocolates, snacks and all sorts of sandwiches which Zane kindly put down.
