"Hey Allura! What can we do for you?" Matt said, glad that the universe offered him a distraction from thinking about how to confess to you.

"Ah, I was going to ask about my communicator, but if the two of you are having an important conversation I can come back at a later time." the princess said, already taking a step back.

Though the taller brunette stopped her with a smile, saying that it was no trouble at all, that he and his sister could talk about this another time.

He rose from his seat and met Allura halfway as Pidge pulled up her laptop.

"So, what's up with your display?" Matt asked her, seeing the page heavy with altean text. "Can't zoom in or something like that?"

"Well, yes." the princess chuckled. "But there's also something else. I was wondering if there was a way for me to pull up more than two images to compare them to each other."

"I'm pretty sure you can, but it's better to do it on a bigger display. Is there a reason you need to do it on your bracelet?" Pidge asked.

Allura explained that you'd found notes from her father's work on Voltron in the castle, and with your unfortunately poor altean you needed her help to read it all. You were getting tired of seeing the lions get hurt and left in their bays only to recharge. Yes, the metal that made their armor was one of a kind but there should be a way to be able to work it.

"She believes that if my father had the power to mold such metal to his will and form the lions I also have it somewhere in me." she blushed. "I mustn't let her down, so I'm doing research on my end the best I can."

"I'm sure you can. And hey if you need extra bigger screens Pidge and I can easily tinker with some things to help you guys out." Matt said with a smile.

"Allura! You're back!" you said as the princess walked through the door. "Good timing, "Just in time, I wanted to review these notes before we prepare for our operation tomorrow."

"I've brought some helpful brainiacs along as well." Allura said, Matt and Pidge following behind her. "Pidge wanted to check in on your progress with the ghost signal for tomorrow."

"Oh! Hey guys! Sorry I made the place such a mess, but uh, glad you're here!"

The scattered books, papers, and notepads around the room made it hard for the trio to come to your side, but only Pidge stayed in place and picked up the stray sheets, skimming them over as Matt chuckled at the sight of you.

"You're really sinking your claws deep in this one, aren't you?"

"Ah, half of these notes are actually for tomorrow's mission. I'll... I'll separate them all later." you said, bringing a hand behind your head with a blush. You ducked your head in embarrassment, Matt's presence making you more aware of what you'd done to your workspace with every passing second.

"Oh! I want to see what you did for the ghost signal!" Pidge beamed, hurrying to your side. "I tried a few things on my own and I really wanted to see what you had before the mission tomorrow, but tonight would be great too if you're willing."

"Of course Pidge, it would be my pleasure. Though I'm sure if you already tried things on your own what I did wouldn't be all that interesting." you chuckled, making the girl blow a raspberry.

"Have more confidence in yourself, I trust your coding as much if not more than mine." she winked.

The green paladin picked up the papers and left the altean notes to her right, closer to you and put down the coding notes on her thigh, skimming over them as she was looking for more around her.
