A Fortnite Story: Dominion x Midas - Cursed!

Chapter 8

Dominion and Midas returned to The Agency the following day as Jules ran and hugged him.

"Who is this, boss?" Dominion asked, looking down at the black-haired girl.

"S-She... is uhm..." Midas stuttered as Jules giggled up at him.

"He is my Daddy!" Jules jumped and hugged Dominion as he blushed and chuckled nervously. "You look cool! What are you?"

"I am a demon with very little devil DNA in me." The demon smiled and picked her up, making sure his flames were showing. "What is your name?"

"My name is Jules!"

"You have a really good name." Dominion put her down as she went to play with her Uncle Brutus and Uncle Meowscles. "Why didn't you tell me you have a kid, sir?"

"I-I uhm..." Midas looked away. "I was afriad that you wouldn't like me the same, and I nervous to tell you!" He then walked off quickly with Dominiom quickly following behind.

"Mida- I mean boss?"

"Hmm?" He stopped and turned around to look at the monster like creature.

"You don't have to be nervous to tell me anything. I am trustworthy."

"I know, Agent Dominion."

"We have to retrieve my son back, and soon. The others have been training hard for the fight that we will be starting." Dominion's father bellowed to his youngest son as he nodded, really sad that they will be attacking people who are just doing their duties.

"I understand, father."

"Good! Then lets get set up and go!"

Dominion suddenly stopped walking by Midas and fell onto his knees, groaning for some reason.

"D-Dominion? What's the matter?" Midas knelt down placing his golden palm on the red skin.

"Something bad is going to happen... I can feel it." He gripped onto the tiled floor before calming down soon after. "I suggest putting everybody on high alerts."

"Fine, I trust you." Midas pressed the alarm on the wall alerting everybody in The Agency to keep high alerts and with their personal guns. "I need to get my Drum Gun. You stay with the others." Midas ordered as Dominion nodded and teleported to the bottom floor, near the enterance and exit.

The demons and devils appeared around the island after about 15 minutes as Dominion's father used his powers to set the perimeter of The Agency into flames, so nobody can escape by land. He then done the same for the helipad and chuckled.

"The smoke will alert then quite enough." He laughed as he saw Henchmen dying, including Jack and Billy sadly. They fell right next to each other. Arms on each other's chest as they fell limp and forever lifeless. "Keep attacking! We will find my son!" He yelled at everyone.

"D-Dad..." Dominion gasped and walked out of the building. "Stop this madness! Leave my friends alone!"

"Son! You're okay! How!?"

"Dad, stop this at once! I work here and you're hurting my friends!" Dominion growled at his father, showing his fangs and claws.

"Why should we? They took you and now they must pay for their actions by suffering death. Everybody get inside!"

"No! I won't let you!" Dominion charged at his father only to be grabbed and pinned to the ground.

"Just be a good little boy and watch us destroy this place!"

"No! Dad!" Dominion tried to get up before seeing the top Agents firing at the demons and devils which were barely doing any damage at all to them. "Guys! Run!" He tried to yell, but it was no use.

Skye got shot in the shoulder by Domino as he regretted it and secretly pulled her into a safe place where no one will see them.

"Hey, girl. I am sorry. My father is nuts." He whispered as Skye coughed up blood and felt light-headed.

"W-What..." Her eyes then closed. Domino sighed deeply and placed his hand on her wound, using his powers to heal her up as fast as he could. Her eyes then opened again as she felt stronger. Back to full health. "What did you do to me!?" She freaked out as he laughed and disappeared.

Brutus was knocked out along with TnTina and Maya. Agent Peely had a deep wound in his leg and arm, and was unable to move or fight, so the demons and devils fired at Meowscles and Midas... that were the only ones left, able to fight.

"Fall back, Meowscles! Watch over Jules!" Midas ordered as Meowscles hissed.

"I can't leave you here!"

"Just go!" He yelled back as Meowscles nodded and ran over to Jules' room. "Why won't you take damage!?" His golden form slowly draining his energy as his began to decrease in speed with his movements and gun firing.

"We're immortal!" The leader who was Dominion's father grabbed Midas by the neck and flung him into the table, but he didn't take damage, due to his golden form. Midas slowly stood up, looking at him deadly as ever. "Stronger than normal, are we?" He chuckled, being amused as Dominion jumped at his father and tried to choke him, only to be wrapped in chains by two more demons who also have chains around their arms.

"Stand down, Dominion!" His father roared out at Dominiom as he looked at Midas and the others in worry. He then walked over to Midas and punched him as hard as he could. "Your soo weak!" He used his fire with created a fire ring around Midas as he coughed and wiped the smoke away from his face. He fell onto his knees and he continued to cough, losing his breathing. "Ha... You think you can take my son away from me? You mistake and a regret of a gift."

"It's not a gift... it's a curse." Midas growled and used a beam of gold at the strongest demon, but he used his own powers to block it all. "You will not defeat me that easily."

"Oh? Watch me." He then quickly disappeared and appeared in front of Midas and grabbed his neck using all of his strength to try to break the gold, protecting him. "You are stronger than I thought. Not a problem." He picked him up and rushed into the wall as Midas grunted.

"Your not soo bad yourself." Dominion's father smiled evilly and pinned him to the floor. Midas tried to get free, but was unable to as the smoke became thicker and thicker.

"N-No!" Dominion roared loudly and smashed the chains, growing black wings. "Get off my friend!" He flew at his father and kicked him off, which worked. "Get. Out. Of. Here."

"Dominion. My son. You are a traitor." He snarled and disappeared. From him disappearing from The Agency, the fire was put out and seemed like nothing was burned or destroyed. Dominion's wings faded and looked at Midas as his gold retreated to his hands.

"You were soo brave against my father." Dominion smiled as Midas chuckled and closed his eyes, now resting against the cold floor. "Guess that knocked you out, huh?" He chuckled and picked him up bridal style, taking him to his room, since he didn't have full access to Midas' room yet.

Meowscles let go of Jules as she curled up on her bed, sobbing silently. The feline sighed and crossed his arms, watching Jules.

"It's okay, Jules. Your father will be fine. He is not easy to defeat." Meowscles stood up, getting a beep from his ear piece. "I must go now. I think everything is fine." He then walked out, with Jules quickly running past him. "Jules! Wait!"

She ran to her father's room and used the code that opened the door and saw that he wasn't in there. Therefore, she decided to look in his personal bathroom, but that was also empty.

"D-Daddy..." She got scared and left the room, closing the door behind her. "I-Is he d-dead?"
