The urge to hold her eyeroll in was getting too great for her.

"Ok, cool. Thanks for taking over, Noah," Adriana was not at all in the mood to be listening to Lily babble on and ordering them around, especially when Lily had no right.

Adriana was hoping that Lily could hear her thoughts and would know to shut up, but like any other day, she was out of luck.

"I'm here now, though, so I can take over, so you want to take your spot at the barre?" It was more of an order than a question.

For years and years, Adriana and Lily had been inseparable friends. Even sisters. This meant that Adriana could, unlike anybody else, read her like an open book. So when Lily 'ordered' Noah around, in that moment, Adriana could tell by the well disguised glint in her eye, that she did not want to do this.

Adriana felt sympathy and maybe some sadness for the girl. She had ended their friendship all because of her evil mother. Was that the wrong choice?

"So, um... Lily, Noah's dance captain. Everyone voted him to be in charge, yes?" Everybody was just as confused as the next as to why she was being different today. Adriana hastily replied with a simple 'yes', which made Miss Angela roll her eyes - of course.

"Well then. Noah. Continue?" Miss Angela reluctantly, 'asked'.

Lily stood now, almost timidly, Adriana noticed. Maybe she was being too hard on Lily this whole time. It did not look like she was enjoying this anymore. Did she ever?

"Lily, take your spot." Miss Angela voiced. Lily held a questioning face, like she couldn't really wrap her head around why she couldn't take control of the team. Nonetheless she took a place on the front bar.

Everybody was already getting fed up with Miss Angela, even though she had only been in the studio for a few minutes.

"You all look like you're ready for bed. Come on! Let's go! Especially you Adriana!"

The dancers around her were realising that Adriana was getting quite riled up, and Amy decided to try and reassure Adriana using her eyes. This immediately resulted in Miss Angela telling Amy to keep her eyes ahead instead. The girl did appreciate her trying though and would have to thank her later.

"Stop tipping, Fozzy!" After hearing this comment and taking in Ozzy's ludicrous face, Adriana decided to talk.

"It's Ozzy, with an O." The lady's head almost instantly snapped towards the girl, who had made this comment. Dancers around were still in a state of disbelief because she spoke out - again. They should be used to it already though.

"Are you trying to tell me how to talk to my dancers?" Miss Angela rudely suggested to the girl.

"Look, you could at least have the decency to say one of your own dancers name's right, that's all." Adriana muttered, exhaustedly.

Something that nobody would ever understand was that Angela surprisingly liked Adriana.

After her and Lily always hanging out with eachother and having never-ending sleepovers, she had grown to think of Adriana as another daughter. This means that she wants Adriana to achieve big things, because she knows that she can do it. So after seeing the state that Adriana was really in, she had decided to not give a snide comment back to her. She needed a break.

"We're here to win, people. Shake it out. Excellent." Upon hearing this Adriana released the bar and rested on her two feet, before leaning against the bar she had been working on.

"Tomorrow, we start working on duets. These are the backbone of a competition."

Adriana had to admit that duets were something she thought to be fun, but not when she was in such a fatigued state.

Miss Angela continued, "So I want you to start thinking about your dance partner."

Henry decided to ask Amy if she wanted to be his partner, which Adriana thought was cute. Angela certainly didn't think the same.

"Henry, Amy. I believe I said thinking. Not talking while I'm talking." Both dancers scrambled back to their places, whilst muttering out a small 'sorry'.

"Uh, excuse me, Miss Angela?" Summer kindly asked.

"Yes, Summer?"

"We should find a partner for Piper, right, because she's just not here today, she's sick." Adriana agreed and thought that this was such a selfless thing for Summer to do for Piper.

Angela's face morphed to one of twisted. "Well, I'm not worried about Piper. This is what happens when you miss rehearsals." She finished off, like it was a warning to everyone else in the room.

Adriana wanted to speak up for Piper and defend her, but she really did not have the energy for this today. Regrettably she stayed silent.

"Let's carry on."

Others in the room were confused and flabbergasted that Miss Angela would just dismiss Piper like that. Especially as they were a team. They needed Piper.

Adriana's face remained like stone, but inside she was worried. If Piper wasn't back soon, would she even still have a spot?
