Easter 1996
Free at last. After their final (and greatest) prank they were free from Umbridge, Filch, the Ferret and Hogwarts.
"Do you know what I can't wait for?" Fred asked.
"Opening are own shop?" George replied eagerly, the adrenaline still rushing through him.
"Nope, well I mean yes!" he said quickly watching his brothers face fall. "But what I'm really excited about is seeing Malfoys face when he sees us swimming in money" he exclaimed, a mischievous grin tugging at the corner of his mouth.
George just snorted.
"What I'm being serious!" Fred laughed "I mean just imagine when the next line of Malfoys can't mock the Weasleys for haveing hand me down robes" he said trying his hardest to mock Draco's posh accent.

Considering Fred and George were Hogwarts best pranksters (apart from maybe the Marauders or the Prewett twins) they were unbelievably smart and always 15 steps ahead. They were so far ahead that they had started making products several years before hand planning to sell them at school, an idea amediatly abolished by Mrs Weasley. Unfortunately for her by this time they had already created multiple lines of cosmetics and were determined to start their own business. They desided on the name "Weasley Wizard Wheezes" and when Harry gave them his Triwizard Tornemnt winnings (of a thousand gallons) there was nothing stopping them, and although neither one was a Slytherin they were both going to achieve their goal.

Two hours after leaving Hogwarts George and Fred lay in the garden of their childhood home sometimes mirmerimg something about how great their escape was when George turned to Fred.
"You know" he yawned "I think we should buy 93 Diagon Alley, the one we looked at, I mean it's perfect."
And that was that they, bought their very own joke shop in the middle of Diagon Alley, it was run down but nothing a bit of magic couldn't fix. When buying it the twins couldn't help but silently thanking Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs because without them their pranks wouldn't have been half as good and they wouldn't have even dreamt of opening their own joke shop (plus they wouldn't know how to get to the school kitchen).
