Where My Loyalty Lies

Part 1.

Story warning: violence, gore-? (not super explicit), dsmp spoiler, the story might make you feel bad for Dream but pls bare with it.

"You can't escape me Tommy, you need me." Dream whispers, grabbing onto the shirt sleeve of the teenager.

"I don't need anyone! I need Tubbo and I need to get out of here, that's it." Tommy shouts in anger, he had never exploded like this with Dream. Dream was his best friend, well, he was.

The aura of despair surrounded the teenage boy, he felt indebted to Dream. He was the only one who came to his party, the only one who was there for him when he was exiled. NO! NO! He caused the exile, no more forgiveness.

"You know what Dream, you're a coward. Kill me if you want! You're nothing without me!" Tommy shouts.

"Fine. If I'm nothing without you, then let me be nothing." he says extending his leg, kicking the teen into the lava surrounding the area. "Bye bud." Dream says swallowing the lump in his throat.

"Dre-" the blonde exclaims but he couldn't finish the harsh sentence of remorse, he was already submerged into the boiling pool.

Tommy was gone now. Dream's knees hit the hardened floor. His body cramped completely, curling into a ball. Warm tears flooded out of his eyes, the one true person who had trusted him, was gone.

He sobbed, hoping that Sam would feel some kind of compassion and would let him roam free, maybe just for the day. But no, the loud sounds of remaining tnt and the sizzling lava suffocated his sobs.

"Please.. forgive me Tommy.." he whimpers out. "I'm sorry you had to be the sacrifice, I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for everything Tommy!" Dream needed to get rid of Tommy for him to fulfill his promise, for him to succeed.

"Please forgive me.. I did this for you." he said, looking through blurred tears at the picture of Captain Puffy that was displayed on top of the chest. "It's all for our promise, mom."
