Forgotten Hearts

Chapter 29

Davina's POV:
It's been a week since I told everyone I'm pregnant. And this past week, has been hectic. They won't leave me alone. But luckily, I have an escape. While Kol was sleeping, I decided I'm gonna go for a walk, ALONE!

It's like 7 in the morning so I have nothing to worry about anyway. I haven't been able to do anything alone since I told them. And before you say anything, I left a note on the bed for when Kol wakes up, so he doesn't freak out that in just gone.

It's currently 7:30 as I've been walking for 30 minutes. "Davina?" I hear a familiar voice call out. I turn around and smile when I see Cami. "Cami! Hey!" I say running towards her and giving her a tight hug.

"Hey! I missed you" she says hugging back. She's been out of town for a few months so I haven't seen her. "I have important news for you" I say breaking the hug making her raise an eyebrow.

"What news would that be?" She asks as I smile. "I'm pregnant" I blurt out as her eyes widen. "What?!" She yells a bit. I can tell she is very shocked. I let out a giggle as I look down at my stomach, places a hand on my flat little belly, and looks back up at her.

"It's true, Cami." I say to her. A big smile instantly grows on her face. "I'm so happy for you!" She says hugging me once more.

Meanwhile with Kol.....

Kol's POV:
I slowly open my eyes awake letting out a yawn. I sit up and notice that Davina's not here, but I do see a small piece of paper.

I take the paper and begin to read.

"Kol, I don't want you to worry, so I'm writing this note. I've decided to head out, for a short walk. I don't know how long I'll be, but I'll try to be back soon. I needed a bit of alone time to myself, as much as I love you all."

I sigh as I read the letter. I fold it up and sets it on the nightstand. I stand up as I walk over and grab a shirt from the dresser, putting it on, as I was only in shorts. I grab my phone and heads out of the room and into James room. "hey buddy" I say smiling as I see James is wide awake.

"daddy!" he shouts standing up. I smile and walks up to him.

Davina's POV:
Cami left me a few minutes ago, she had to get to work, so for the past 5 minutes, I've just been walking around town, but now I am on my way home.

But as I'm walking the street, I feel someone grab my arm and pull me aside in an alley way, I was about to scream but the person quickly put something on my mouth, making me pass out instantly.

A few hours later

Kol's POV:
I grab my phone, giving Elijah a call.
"Hello?" He says as he answers the call.
"Elijah, has any of you seen Davina by any chance?" I ask him.
"Not that I know of, is everything alright?" He asks and I sigh.
"She went on a walk while I was asleep this morning but she hasn't came back home, I'm worried. What if something happened." I say to him, in a worry voice.
"Okay, brother. How about this, I'll meet you at your house, and we can go search for Davina together?" He assures me making me smile slightly.
"That sounds great. Thank you, Elijah." I say before hanging up.

Meanwhile with Davina......

Davina's POV:
I slowly start to wake up, squinting my eyes as I do so. I can feel my hands tied down to a chair, along with my feet. "Hello?! Who did this?!" I shout out but no answer. "If you don't let me go now my husband will find you and he will tear you to shreds!!!" I scream but still, no answer...

"My my my, you have such a loud mouth" a voice says, finally. My eyes widen as I recognize that voice. "No....." I mutter to myself. "Oh, but yes. Darling Davina, did you miss me?" The voice says coming out into the light so I can see him. "Mikael...." I say to myself as I stare deadly at him.
