Sofia's Pov: I'd just woken up to a bunch of texts from a group chat, I was confused, who are these people? Verónica had texted me telling me that Marcelo was having a house party and that he had invited me ( Verónica and Marcelo are dating) this is going to be the first party i've ever been to in ten years, the last one i'd gone to was when I was six and it was my cousins fifth birthday party. What do I even wear to this? My mum came into my room and told me to get ready for school,
"Mum, one of my friends from school is having a party and they've invited me, it's tomorrow can I go?"
My mum looked at me with a surprised look,
"Of course you can go, i'm so happy you've made new friends!" she walked out smiling.
I picked up my phone and opened the group chat and told them my mum said I can come, that's when I got a notification from a number I didn't have saved.

"Hey Sofia"
"Who's this?"
"Guess who sweetheart"
That's when I knew who it was.
"What do you want Mateo?"
"I want you."

I never responded to that text, I just didn't know what to say, I want him so badly he looks perfect but I don't want to get hurt. Maybe he'll be at Marcelo's party, I have to look ten out of ten for this!
I got into my uniform and did the usual: eat breakfast, brush teeth, do hair and makeup.
My mum took my to school again because I didn't want to get the bus or have to walk. Verónica came running up to me and gave me a hug.
"Hey Sofia's mum!" she said with a huge smile on her face.
"Hey Verónica!" my mum said as she rolled her window back up and drove off.
"So Marcelo's party, is your brother going to be there?" I said hoping she'll say no but wanting her to say yes.
"Yes! Of course he'll be there, Mateo, Marcelo, Romeo, Alessandro and Lorenzo have been best friends since they were little. I used to hang out with them a lot but over summer they've all been very distant from me so i've had to find new friends which isn't to bad and the end of the day."
I saw in her eyes that she was hurt. Her own brother was distant from her, that's sad.

'So we're not responding to my messages?'
I rolled my eyes as I saw the message, why won't he drop it? There's so many beautiful, stunning girls in this school and this town, why does he want me?
"Mateo as I said I don't give in so easily, maybe if you weren't known as a fuck boy and a heartbreaker I wouldn't be like this but you are."
"Right, I'm a fuck boy now? Thought I was just the 'heartbreaker, nice to know you've got another nickname from me"
I looked around and made eye contact with him, I winked and watched him look at me with desire in his eyes. I know how bad he wants me and I want to give in so badly but I just know how bad this is going to end, maybe at the party tomorrow I can show him something he'll never forget.
