D-Day
Today's the day wherein Lisa together with her classmates will perform their Drama in front of the whole school.
After Lisa successfully went to the Party, she spent the whole night with her friends, specifically with Jennie.
Danced to numerous songs, drank a lot of beverage, enjoyed the scrumptious meals being prepared, and spent the night well.
But now Lisa is on the verge of backing out from the performance and drive home. She change her mind, seeing the seats being filled up by different students, the loud chatters and murmurs, Lisa wanted to faint.
They are now at the backstage, waiting for the curtains to drop and their names being called by pairs. They have their respective costumes on, some even prepared and made props to enhance their role play.
Pacing back and forth, breathing in and out, Lisa's having mild anxiety attacks.
"Shit shit shit. That's a lot of people." she may play Basketball in front of thousands of people but she can never sing, act nor dance with dozen pairs of eyes watching.
Playing her favorite sport is different from doing something she doesn't put passion into.
"Hey Lisa, chill." Nayeon took a hold of her shoulders, letting the latter stay calm and refrain from having a sudden breakdown.
"This is going to be okay, we'll just perform in a few seconds then we're done." mimicking her way of breathing, Nayeon told Lisa to look into her eyes, to seek comfort and security. Lisa obediently obliged, breathing calmly and closing her eyes.
"Besides, it's not like you are going to say some lines. You are just going to lay down on a bed!" laughing hysterically, Lisa opened up her eyes again to what Nayeon said.
"But you do know how I am still going to put my emotions and cry in front of the whole school? I know Mingyu's gonna do the talking but I'm going to do the crying!" she exclaimed her anger fuming up within herself, she went away towards the dressing room.
Thankfully no one was there and she could finally let out all the burden she's carrying on her shoulders.
The Act both Lisa and Mingyu's gonna do is one of the famous emotional yet romantic teenage movie in the current times. Their Teacher picked that theme for them because she thought it would most likely fit to their chemistry.
Nayeon's right that Lisa is not going to say any lines since her role is the damselle who bedridden on a hospital bed, with wires of electronic devices stuck within her body. Meanwhile Mingyu, he's going to say the lines of his role while being few feet away from Lisa.
"Why did Madam even choose Five Feet Apart? She could've just choose Lala Land and I could dance my ass off out of embarrassment." she whispered, drowning her mind with her thoughts, palms covering her face. She does not want to cry in front of everyone, she never cries, and she doesn't have any plans to.
When it comes to showing her emotions, Lisa most likely keeps in within. Let's no one sees it, and when she's alone that's the time she'll break down in tears.
There are also few reasons why Lisa must cry. One might be about her family, next are her friends and academics, and of course lastly, about Jennie.
She is very vulnerable when it comes to the Kim, she can show her true emotions whenever she's around and she can be true to herself.
But with thousands of people watching right now, she can't just feel embarrassed and shy.
"Are you okay there?" Mingyu spoke behind the door, knocking towards the wooden thing. Lisa quickly got up, fixed her outfit and hair then opened the door. Showing a bright fake smile to her partner.
