Upon recently reading this story, I was captivated immediately by the invigorating plot. From the first word to the last, my attention was never drawn from the story. At the beginning, Rose is naught but an ex-aspiring piano prodigy. After surviving a traumatizing car crash with her agent, she is left heartbroken and guilty. As the story moves on however, introducing Mac, Dan, and Troy, she is immediately drawn into their world of passionate music.

Rose finds a new life, one that no longer consists of emotionlessly hitting the keys of the piano. Prodigious at heart, she quickly learns to play the guitar and is chosen to be the lead guitarist in the aspiring band "Burn to Shine."  She has finally found it in herself to put her own thoughts and emotions into her music.

But of course, this story just wouldn't be quite right without a little bit of love in it. Mac, the lead singer of "Burn to Shine," finds himself constantly attracted to Rose. Everything from her love of music, to her short brown hair fascinates him immaculately. And well, I must say that feeling is indeed mutual.

As the band is discovered, and rises further into the welcoming arms of fame, their relationship becomes even more impossible than it was before. The record deal owner constantly stresses his disapproval of band mates dating. The plot is indeed good, constantly keeping me on my toes, always wondering how on Earth their relationship would ever work out.

The grammar, punctuation, and vocabulary was splendid, only a few minor errors here and there that most wouldn't notice. While reading this story, I never felt as if the author made any effort to rush it at all, for which I am thankful fore. Hasty stories, while blunt, often lose that flow that a book just needs to have in order to capture the attention of readers.

From what I can tell, the author has a good history of updating fairly quickly, though she has yet to finish her wonderful story. I sincerely hope she does, because I can pretty much say that she could easily get that book published one day if she wished too. (I have seen much worse stories already published.) Thanks for reading! I hope you take my review into account, and hopefully check out her story one day.
