It's been a couple years since the incident, kohen's been living with his grandmother Jasmine.
Jas aint been right since the death of her daughter, she's been depressed..She barely leaves the house unless she is going to work or getting groceries. Sometimes kohen has even caught her talking to the wall, as she claims she can still hear her daughters voice...
"i miss you so much baby" Jas said barely above a whisper to a picture sitting in her lap of kohens mom as a tear fell off her cheek onto the glass frame.
She looks up seeing her daughter standing infront of her, "take care of my baby mom" she voiced as kohen silently watched his nana talk to nothing in particular since he could not see his mother's spirit like his nana.
A loud knock came from the front door causing kohen to run upstairs to keep his nana from seeing him ease dropping on what she was doing.
wiping her eyes jasmine slowly stood up hearing a more aggressive hard knock come from the door making kohen peep from the top of the stairs.
"hello?" she spoke as she opened it causing a masked figure to swiftly move in front of her "Jasmine Wright?" his deep voice spoke, she nodded obviously confused on why he was here.. and with that nod he sent a bullet right to the middle of her forehead and disappeared leaving jasmine on the ground.. lifeless.. with her eyes wide open.
"NANA NO" kohen screamed seeing his once grandmother on the ground limp as can be.
Kohen had lost 2 of the most important people that would ever be in his life all before he could even turn 10.
