Harry took no longer than thirty minutes to come knocking on my door and he bore many gifts. He handed over a Victoria's Secrets bag, which left me bewildered for a while until I realised it only contained pyjamas and a gift card which was incredibly sweet. He also brought enough chinese to last at least a month; several movies ranging from horror to romcoms; three boxes of tissues and a bunch of pale pink roses, my favourite type of flower apart from the rare skeleton flower found in certain parts of Hawaii.

After explaining why and how we broke up and crying a little bit, I started to understand exactly why I wanted to finish it with Ash.

I wanted to be with Harry.

How could I be with Harry when we were basically best friends ever since we bumped into each other, and after he got to know Ash, they became very close friends. Does that mean due to the bro code he wont be able to talk to me anymore? He will have to leave me and side with Ashton?

And then the tears began to pool in my eyes once more, about twenty minutes after they had stopped.

"What's wrong now T?" Harry asked pulling me closer to him. But could I tell him that he was the reason that I broke up with Ash.

No.

Maybe I should just move on from Ash and then see what happens after that. I'm just going to live my life for me and forget about boys for while. I could not do anything with Harry if I wanted to anyway, I was deep in the 'friend zone' which i dont exactly believe in, but if it was real i was very much in it.

"I'm fine Harry, the food's just spicy and that's making my eyes water" I said hoping he would just believe me and let it go.

"Ummm... you're eating plain boiled rice T" he said looking at me like I had just recited the Odyssey in pig latin.

"Well.... it's really spicy. I don't like it!" I said throwing the container of rice back onto the table.

"You know what? I am happy that you finally left Ash, he's a total loser and he's got no future." he said trying to collect all the spilt rice that went all over the table. Then he mumbled something quietly about having a chance, but I didn't pick on it or try and bring it up as I had already embarassed myself enough.

The rest of the evening was spent watching some romcoms and other comedies until Harry decided that at around midnight it was a good idea to watch...

"The Purge?"

"The Purge!"
