Jungkook's POV

I look up at the two that walked in.

My mate doesn't seem shocked to see my eyes the way they are. As I look at him I see his eyes start to turn a teal color making my eyes go wide.

I've only read and learned about the Teal Fire. The Teal Fire is a dragon shifter that is the protector of the Golden Omega. It's never been said that the two were ever mates but then again it's never been said that they weren't.

"Oh my! Taehyung, you were right. Alright I need to check you again. You are going to have to eat something soon. You're going have to stay in the clinic for a while. I need to keep an eye on you until you are completely well. You may be a supernatural but that doesn't mean you can't die from starvation and dehydration. Taehyung do you have any alpha duties that you need to attend to or something?"

"Not that it's any of your business but no. Just so you know you can't keep me away from my mate. Who are you to do so? I'm not leaving you alone with with him. Plus, I don't want you doing anything to him not that I think you would but you did try to tell me that he couldn't be my mate when he is. So I'm staying with him whether you like it or not." My mate says sensing my fear.

He looks at me giving me a sympathetic look while I give him a thankful one.

"You're going to be ok. Since I knew you'll need them I had someone get you some clothes. When Jin hyung gets done and leaves I can help you get them on if you're ok with that of course. If not then you can try putting them on yourself." He says making me nod.

"What's your name?" Jin asks as he begins to check me.

"Jeon Jungkook." I say barely audible.

"How old are you?"

"18."

"Do you know anything about dragons?"

"I couldn't look up much when I was with my old pack. I couldn't do much of anything for that matter. I know that you are hard to kill. Some dragon shifters are elementals while some are based on moon phases or the settings of the sun. The Teal Fire Dragon is extremely rare and is the protector of the Golden Omega. I'm just glad that I found the clan I was looking for. I don't know what I had done if I hadn't. I'd either be dead or being punished if someone from my old pack found me. I was looking for the Teal Fire more so though to be honest. I need the protection." I say with fear in my eyes as tears start to brim them.

"You found me and you will be protected. I'm not going to let anyone hurt you. I'm not saying this because I am your vowed protector either. I'm saying it because you are my mate. Even if I don't know you well I will protect you."

"Tae didn't you say a long time ago that you would reject your mate because you didn't want one?" Jin says making me scared and my mate annoyed.

He didn't want a mate?

"For your stupid ass information hyung. I have always wanted a mate and that was what Jihoon said before he met Hoshi. I have never in my life said that I would reject my mate so stop making up shit that other people said all because you're sour about your own damn life due to the fact that you haven't met your mate yet. You scared the hell out of my mate for no damn reason all because you're salty as damn hell. I don't care if you are my hyung I am alpha of the clan and if I have to I will have you put in one of the cells and have you be fed nothing you like. Just make this clear I am your alpha as much as I am the rest of the clans." My mate says as his eyes flash red before flashing to teal then reverting back to their original dark brown.

I look at him with a scared expression making his eyes soften.

"As I said Jin hyung was just being salty and wanted to spread it. So if you're wondering if I'm going to reject you, no I'm not. I don't want you scared of me. I will never want that. Jin hung hurry up and get his check up over with and leave please. You can come back later to get our food trays which are in the hallway getting cold." My mate says making the other male nod and does exactly what he says.

When he's done he leaves, leaving me and my mate alone in the room. My mate goes out and gets the trays of food bringing them inside.

"We'll eat then we can get your clothes on. Is that ok?" He asks making me nod.

"You're scared of alphas aren't you?" He asks placing a tray on the rolling table before rolling it in front of me.

"I'm.... I'm sorry." I say looking down.

He sets his tray down on a nearby counter before coming over to me and gently lifts my head up so that I'm looking at him.

"You have nothing, nothing to apologize for. You haven't done anything for you to apologize. I'm not mad at you for being scared of what rank I am. Others of the same rank are sick bastards making those of us look like bad people when many of us aren't. In many packs and clans everyone is equal, this one especially. Since you're my mate you are the Queen or Luna in your case of the clan. You are equal to me and in many situations you will be above me. In this clan you will be respected. Not many will go against you mainly because they don't want to have the wrath of their Alpha."  He says looking straight into my eyes.

"You are so beautiful." He breathes out softly making me blush bright red.

He lets go of me and clears his throat awkwardly before the two of us start to eat.

When the two of us are done he places the trays on the counter before getting the clothes he got me before helping me put them on.

"Since we're mates I guess we need to get to know each other." I say once I have my clothes on and is back to sitting how I was originally on the bed.

"Yeah." My mate says nodding his head in agreement.

"You already know the basics like my name, age, what type of shifter, if I'm anything of importance, and if I know much of anything on your species of shifter. You also know what rank I am. What is there to answer?" I ask looking him in the eye.

"What's your favorite color?"

"Green. What's yours?"

"Purple. What is your favorite food?"

"Lamb skewers, banana milk, and anything made of flour/bread. You?"

"Hmm. I'm a picky eater so I'm not sure exactly. I used to eat strawberries a lot."

"What is your name and how old are you? Since I don't know"

"I am Kim Taehyung and I am 125 years old."

"Wow, you're an old man." I giggle out.

"I'm an old man? Jin hyung is older than me." He says making me laugh.

"Your laugh is so beautiful." He says making me blush while putting my head down.

"I don't want to stay here." I say.

"What do you mean?"

"I don't want to stay in the clinic."

"It'll only be for tonight. If you want I will stay with you."

"Stay."
