What is the True Story?

Once there were two princesses. Twins, one with hair the color of snow and one with hair the color of a raven's feather. Raven was first born, respected and honor-bound, heir to the throne, and trained to be Queen. Snow was the people's princess, the one free to indulge her desires.

The Queen, Aline Snow, died giving birth to the twins, and before they were four years of age, He married Princess Charla from a distant nation. The new Queen was beautiful, with hair the color of the sun, and eyes that shimmered like the ocean. People said that her appearance reflected her generous soul, but they were wrong.

The queen desired power. And so she raised Raven, the heir, teaching her the ways of the court, and how to gain favor and make bargains. All this while Snow was cast aside.

But she was not forgotten by her father, the king. And so in an unexpected turn of events, Snow was named Crown Princess.

Her sister, Raven, was driven mad with envy and plotted against her the beloved Snow. Her mother, an evil queen, helped her.

They ordered a huntsman to kill the Crown Princess. However, the huntsman saved the princess, who went to live with seven dwarfs. When the Queen learned of this, by way of her magic mirror, she was enraged. The evil princess Raven disguised herself as an old hag, and went to murder her sweet younger sister. Once with a poison-laced comb, once with a string of lace that she pulled tight around Snow's neck, and once and finally, with a poison apple that Snow choked on.

However, as I'm sure you know, she did not die. The dwarfs laid her in a glass coffin, nestled in the forest when a handsome prince came riding past. He was instantly spellbound by her beauty and pleaded to give her the most magnificent funeral, for that was the most he could do for her. And so the dwarfs carried her coffin to his castle. However, in doing so, the piece of apple logged in her throat was knocked loose, and she was revived.

And so, they were engaged at once, and the prince avenged Snow White. When her evil sister, Raven, and her stepmother, The Queen attempted to stop the wedding, the prince ordered the soldiers to capture them. And so, he ordered their punishment: dancing to death with burning iron shoes.

This is a version of the story of Snow White. However, this is not the full story, and parts of it are twisted. And our story will start not with Snow White, as some might expect, but with Raven. She will be telling her own story. I wonder what you will think of this princess, who was declared evil. I wonder if you will blame her or the Mirror, or her stepmother, or even, perchance, her birth mother.

AN: BTW if you didn't know that the evil queen tried to kill Snow White 3 times, it's in the Grim brothers' version, Disney really changes the fairy tales. I added in Raven because she's the main character and I wanted to have Snow White in it, but I didn't want her to be Raven. So that's why the fairy tale is kinda off.

Also, does anyone else think that the prince is really creepy? I mean, she's dead and he kisses her and takes her to his castle. (I changed it so he wants to give her a funeral), but still, I mean. . .

I hope you liked it! Please vote and comment! I'm really excited about this story because I've always wanted to retell a fairy tale!
