The Masked Slayer (Kocho Shinobu X Male reader)

The Hashira meeting

I woke up to a Kakushi carrying me and Tanjiro being carried by another Kakushi. We were thrown in front of the Hashira. From what I could tell half of my mask was on my face the other half must have fallen off. I looked around and saw Giyu and a sight that scared me Shinobu glaring at me. I then saw a guy with a snake with some tape or bandages around his face. A guy with two swords and a weird pattern around one eye. The next was a girl with pink hair that went green at the ends. Then a man with orange and red hair. Then I saw some kid with black and blue hair looking at the sky and then a guy who's blind. One of them started trying to wake Tanjiro up.
'Guess he got hit harder than me.'

I pulled myself to my knees and then I realised that I don't have my sword.
"Where's my sword?" I asked groggily.
"Do you not realise your hands are tied?" The snake guy asked.
"Yeah no kidding I'm just wondering what happened to my sword."
There was a silence that lasted for a solid minute until Shinobu eyes met mine.
"You're sword is at my house and your being put on trial."
"Trial for what?" I asked confused as to why I'm here.
"Because you said you would protect Tanjiro's sister who's a demon." Shinobu responded.
"Oh that, well I said it because his sister didn't attack me when I was bleeding or when you decided to stab me she didn't try to drink anyones blood or eat anyone." I said trying to sound confident. The pink haired girl looked at me.
"How did you get that scar?" She asked timidly.
"Well it's from Muzan Kibutsuji when he tried to attack me four years ago." I replied

All the Hashira looked at me in shock at the fact I was attacked by Muzan and survived. Suddenly they all started throwing questions at me.

"Wait I don't even know your names apart from Shinobu and Giyu." Trying to get there names was difficult as they all talked over each other. The pink haired girl is called Mitsuri, the snake man is called Obanai, the guy with two swords is called Uzui, the kid looking at the clouds is called Muichiro, the blind guy is called Gyomei and the guy with orange hair is called Rengoku.

Soon after i tell them that I use shadow style breathing and that I was put on that mission directly from the master and that if successful I would be promoted from Hinoto to Kinoe and that I've killed 37 demons and one of the Twelve Kizuki if you count me helping Tanjiro with Rui.

Soon after they wake up Tanjiro and Shinobu gives him some water so he can try to explain himself. The Kid couldn't speak without getting interrupted.
"Shut it and let the kid speak." I yelled clearly catching them off guard.

Then a kid with white hair and a scar going across his nose walks up holding Tanjiro's sisters box. He pulled his sword out and pushed it straight through the box. After Tanjiro lost it and went and head butted the white haired bastard I lost it, I started laughing my ass off. Albeit I did receive some glared from other Hashira, i stopped laughing and looked at the Hashira.
"Oh come on that was funny. He swung at Tanjiro missed and he got head butted so hard he hit the ground all while being a Hashira." I let out a small chuckle and the white haired kid walked over to me. By this time I've already stood up and I'm taller than him so I'm making fun of him and it clearly bothered him but he couldn't think of anything to say back. I looked him in the eyes.
"What breath style do you use?"
"Wind." He replied
"Ah, ok 'air boy'."
This made him pissed, me and a couple other Hashira laughed at him. Until we heard the Master we all kneeled except Tanjiro because I think he's still taking it all in. Master Ubuyashiki introduces himself and talks to us about how he is pleased that everyone made the meeting with no personnel changes. Wind kid immediately changed his tone and prayed for Masters health and good fortune.
"Master If I can ask why have you invited these two."
Wind kid has Tanjiro's face held down whilst he's squirming.
"I invited Y/N because I was going to promote him to Kinoe but he did well and in assisting killing a Twelve Kizuki so I'm going to send him on more missions that deal with the Twelve Kizuki and mission with Hashira." He spoke calmly and it made it seem so simple.
