The next day, Ivy stood silent, which surprised not only me, but a lot of people, especially the teachers. She didn't skip class for one day in her life, and actually did her work, as did she even help the teachers out after classes. What's up with her?

After school, she stood by the bleachers. Without hesitation, I ran over and sat beside her.

"Hey." I looked down, my hands folded together. "Why are you acting so..different?"

Ivy sighed, her legs crossed with her hands pushing down her short skirt when usually, she wanted it to be lifted up so everyone could see everything. "I didn't say much before, but me and my dad moved a lot this year. So far, I've went to two different schools this year...and I'm moving again." She said, looking away.

I looked at her tilted head and pulled her over to me. "If that's why, then we can make it work. You have my number, I have yours. I'll even visit you, no matter where you are. I'll fly to Australia if I have to! So don't worry, okay?" Ivy shook her head, but couldn't help but smile. She reached over, sitting on my lap and kissing me.

"Okay..." She parted from my lips and whispered.
