THEME: the theme of this book is there is a realm between the Sylph world and the human world now (the word sylph is a synonym for a fairy)
And the whole idea is that there are sylphs and then there are warrior sylphs. The warrior sylphs are fairies who protect the sylph world called (sylphiana)
But the warrior fairies job is also to make sure that the humans
do not find out about the sylph world. And if they do very very bad things will happen.
Although there is one sylph who is very very curious about the human world.. so one dark and mysterious night she decides to leave the sylph world forever. But since the warrior sylph has no idea about the human world she often does not know what at all the humans do!
One day she comes across this beautiful captain of a ship.
