"VICKY!"

Vic approached his friends with a scowl directed towards his little brother.

"Shut the fuck up Michael."

His brother simply laughed before returning to the conversation he was having with Tony.

"You want some?" Alex offered his bag of chips towards Vic as he sat down besides him.

"Nah. I'm not hungry."

Instantly his friends ceased conversation and stared at him in concern.

Vic felt his irritation rise.

He knew his friends were just worried about him, but he hated them always flashing him that look when he rejected food.

He was RECOVERED.

He didn't have a eating disorder anymore, he didn't drag a blade across his damaged wrists, he was good.

He just wished his friends would understand that.

"Guys, I'm FINE. I just have a stomach flu." Vic sighed heavily.

Everybody slowly returned to their normal behavior.

Vic was about to interrupt something Jack had said but the words died in his throat.

Although there was other groups of people outside the school enjoying their lunch, all the older Fuentes could see was the messy raven black hair from his spot at the picnic table.

His friends continued to chat amongst themselves, oblivious to the lonely boy across the feild.

Vic felt his heart shatter into tiny shards as he noticed the tears painting the boys flawless pale skin.

No person as beautiful as that should ever experience such sorrow.

The boy was walking quickly as he stuffed his hands into his grey hoodie and tried to hide behind his black hair.

Vic found himself rising to his feet.

Ignoring his friends questioning looks, Vic proceeded to quickly cross the field and follow the boy into the school where he entered the old boys bathroom.

Nobody ever dared to use the old bathroom due to its dark history.

Two years prior a boy committed suicide in one of the stalls.

Afterwards, students simply avoided it and used the newer one near the junior hallway.

This is why Vic found himself hesitating just outside the door.

After a moment of internal debate, Vic pushed the door open as quietly as possible and went inside.

"-miss you."

Vic froze, holding his breath.

"I just don't understand why. Why Justin?"

Nobody replied and suddenly there was a loud bang, causing Vic to jump.

Sobs filled the air seconds later.

"H-Hello?" Vic called out nervously.

The person tried to stiffle his crying, but to no avail.

Vic cautiously approached the only closed stall and knocked on it lightly.

"Are you okay?"

He felt stupid the second the words left his mouth.

Obviously this boy wasn't okay!

Vic mentally slapped himself.

The crying boy didn't reply of course.
