Chapter 1: Her first day

~Erika's pov~

"Follow your dreams" my parents always used to tell me. So I did, my dream was to become a hero.

It the first day of school, well my first day. I wasn't gonna do any test's the had me arrive 3 days later. And there i was, standing in front of the school. I was looking around and not paying attention to were I was going until I bumped in to a tall blond boy "Oh sorry." I whispered "MOVE IT YOU DAMN EXTRA!" He shouted at me and i thought 'hmp maybe i could just...' and i touched his hand. "HEY! DON'T TOUCH ME YOU FREAK!" he shouted yet again. A smirk started to form on my face and I said "freak?" I turned around and proceeded to walk away turning my hand to the side and making an explosion "WAIT! YOU HAVE TO SAME QUIRK AS ME?" he shouted, again. "nope" I said and continued to walk away until I saw a familiar face. It was Shinsou my childhood guy best friend "Shinsou!" I shouted and ran towards him. He stopped right in his path and said "Erika?" He opened his arms and I flew into his arms "It's been so long!" I said "yeah" he answered i could feel his emotions getting higher and higher, happier and happier. He seemed a little to happy to see me. "What happened?" I asked a little worried. "No nothing." He paused "Your eyes- are you reading my emotions?" He scoffed "Woops." I said and laughed. The thing is that my eyes turn purple when I read emotions so they can tell.

We talked for a bit and then I realised I was late, like really late. "Oh my god, Shinsou. I'm late!" I told him "Do you even know were your class is?" He huffed "I mean no, but I'm sure its not that hard to find it. Right? How hard can it be? I mean its one class." I scoffed while rubbing the back of my neck. He grabbed my hand "Come here. I'm guessing your in class A3?" He asked "Actually no im in class A1." I said "Really? Well then its this way." He pulled me and we stopped infront of a big door "Thanks Shin-" I turned around and he was all ready knocking on the door but no one answered. I rolled my eyes, knocked on the door, again and a person in a sleeping bag opened it. He looked like a caterpillar. I then looked at Shinsou but he was gone. Then the caterpillar talked "Are you the so called 'New' student?" He asked "I mean if thats what you call me, sure." I replied with a smile. "Come in." He said stepping out of the way. I walked in and I saw that tall blond boy that was yelling before. "YOU?" He shouted, yet again. "YES ME" I shouted back, snickering. He got angry but didn't say anything. "You will sit there" the caterpillar pointed to a empty chair behind the angry looking blond. All the other class was starring at me and whispering stuff. I tried to ignore everything.

"So now that all the students are here. Get to know each other. You need to trust each other. Also don't wake me up." He said and fell down laying on the floor, probably sleeping. Once he stopped talking all eyes fell on me "So what's your quirk?" A short boy with green hair asked. "I prefer to keep that a mystery. But I can tell you my one quirk. If you want?" I said "Wait you have 2 quirks!?" A other blond boy asked. "Oh well no I have 3." I whispered rubbing the back of my neck. "Wait seriously? Thats so cool!" A pink girl added. "Thank you. My one quirk is mind reading. Have you even heard of it?" I asked "Yes it is very rare but very powerful." A tall dark haired boy with glasses added. And I nodded in agreement.

We all continued to talk, they introduced them self's and I did too. It was fun, meeting so many new people. The bell rang, and Shinsou informed me that today all the teachers were having a meeting, about the 'New' student, me. So the rest of the day we didn't have any classes.

They all got up and I accidentally bumped into Tokoyami. 'Great now I have a shadow self' I thought. We all walked out the class and I saw Shinsou "Oh so we spying now are we?" I said and chuckled "No just your mom told me to walk you home. So how was it? Your first day?" He asked and I told him everything. He didn't say anything but quickly changed the subject. "Hey I just realised you have never told me all of your quirks. What are they?" He explained. "Oh well I never use it so I haven't told anyone." I said, avoiding the question. "Well what is it?"he asked, again. "I- um its called blood bending. Its really dangerous. I accidentally used it one time when I was 3 and I almost killed someone." I explained, huffing. "Wait really?" He asked "Yeah. I don't say that to anyone because well I'm really proud of it." I explained. "It's okay. Thank you for telling me. I also put someone in danger with my quirk. But it was a long time ago and I don't really remember what I did." He confessed "I guess we are more alike than we knew. I don't know why but I feel like you are like family to me, like a brother." I said and I felt happy emotions coming from him. "Yeah and you are my annoying little sister." He said and put his arm around me and started to rub my head. "Heyyyyy! Shinsou! I did my hair today!" I whined and he said "Woops!" And started running. I chased after him and we ran all the way to the bus stop. We stopped there panting like dogs. "You"...."Are"...."Fast" I said trying to catch my breath. He laughed at my comment and we both got on the bus and sat at the back. Still giggling and laughing at what just happened. "I'm stop 6, are you stop 7?" He asked still heavily breathing "Oh yeah." I answered. "OK well this is stop 6, so you get off at the next stop ok? This is my new number." He said handing me a paper with a phone number on. "Text me when you get home OK?" He said and started walking away. "Yeah, yeah I will. Bye!" I said and he left.

On the next stop I got off and walked towards my house, slowly but I got there. Outside my house there was a boy wearing a hoodie of some sort. He had black hair and purple scars all over his body "Can I help you?" I asked since he was waiting for someone outside my house. He turned around and looked down at me "Wow. You've grown alot, little one."

"Little one? Do i know you?" I asked getting my hand ready to fire. But then I remembered i touched Tokoyami, i don't have fire or explosion. 'Shit' I thought put my hand back, since i can't attack or fight. "Ofcourse you don't remember me. Do you remember someone called Toya?" He asked kinda of disappointed. "Toya? I think yes. It reminds me of someone but i don't know who. Why?" I questioned. "No reason. My name is Toya and thank you." He said "For what?" I asked "Everything." He leaned down and whispered in my ear, because he was kinda tall. I couldn't talk or move and i could feel shivers coming down my body. By the time i was ready to talk he had already left. Still shocked i looked back and didn't see anyone, so I just walked in the house. My parents (not biological parents) are workaholics so they don't come back until 12. At that point it was 5:34 so i had lots of time. I decided to text Shinsou.

Shinsou came over, we backed cookies and accidentally burned our pizza, did a tv marathon and fell asleep cuddling on the couch. Even in my sleep i could feel his emotions, and he was very happy. And I was happy too. When i was with Shinsou i could just be myself, i felt at ease. That was the best sleep i had ever had. It was so good that i was late...
