I wake up only to remember. Groaning and rubbing my arm, I climb out of my plush mattress and viewed my surroundings. There were 2 beds other than mine and all were lacy and pink like all beds in the 'princess' dorms. I didn't really mind it this way, I had filled my side of the room with plants, inks and parchments, neatly stacked on a vintage wooden desk, lit by candles scented; coconut and mango, strawberry and blackcurrant and daisies and daffodils- I found it refreshing. The walls were a pastel pink- if you looked close enough you could see specks of glitter as well. My roommate- Lilith, was already up, probably off somewhere combing her hair (she seriously needs to). Roselle, however, was still sound asleep as usual- she only wakes up when her alarm goes off. This is how it always is, but tomorrow will be... different. Tomorrow is the day we are given our quest. Our goal we have to achieve for our fairytale. Ugh. All the villains and princesses, all the princes and heroes were excited to be famous and known across all lands for their bravery and heroism. I however, dreaded the day I was appointed queen of Camelot.
It seems stupid really. I mean, who doesn't want to rule a fairytale kingdom full of magic and adventures where you find your prince? Well, your looking right at her.
