Ghost Girl

Chapter 2

Another day in my life. I hope I don't meet any new ghosts. If I do I hope they are nice. I don't have enough energy to deal with an evil spirit today. A poltergeist would also be annoying. Even my friends can't deal with them. Even though Kasper acts like one all the time. Sometimes I wish there were more like me. Than they could join my friend group. Only if that wish came true. But hanging out with Hazel and Cassie is okay I guess... 

I think the ability of seeing ghosts skips a generation. Or only one person gets it every generation. personally I think the first reason, because my parents kicked my brother out when he was seventeen. He's now nineteen. They told me that they kicked him out because he was gay and that I don't have to worry if I don't like girls. But I'm still scared about what will happen when I turn seventeen. In our village it's allowed to live alone once you turn seventeen. Of course it's not good to kick your kid out, but it was legal so my parents didn't get any trouble. I don't like my parents. They are scared of everything that isn't "normal". I mean what is normal?

Okay, I sneaked out of the house today. I think I'm going to my secret place in the forrest. It's always quiet there and the evil and annoying spirits (except Kasper) don't come there. But when I arrived I saw someone sitting there. It was a guy. He looked a little like an older boy version of me. I hoped it was my brother, but lately the things I hope don't come true. But I was curious so I was planning to ask who he was. When he saw me he looked scared, surprised and happy at the same time. I didn't know someone could show so much emotions at the same time. He told me his name was Jack and that I remind him of his sister. When I heard that I knew this guy had to be my brother. I mean who else would he be. Apparently he was my brother. He said that he lived here with his boyfriend. But I don't believe him. Cause why haven't I seen him before? I stayed there for a while and sneaked beck in to my room hoping he would still be there tomorrow.
