Chapter 12

Rachel's POV

I wake up with a message from.... fine, I'll say his name. Finn. Gross. Why is he bothering me, again?

qrtrbckhudson: come to the auditorium first thing this morning! You won't regret it, I promise :)

I didn't want to seem rude, and make him wonder if Quinn and I really were 'a thing', because I know Quinn cares about her rep, and letting the QUARTERBACK have a clue or even know, well, he'll tell everyone! That's how much of a jerk that guy is!

rachberry⭐️: Okay, will do.

When I'm finally dressed, I get a lift from my Dads into school. I think they could tell something was going on, as they kept asking if I was okay, and giving me hugs. They really are the best. I will tell them everything as soon as it is sorted, I thought to myself.

"Hi Rach" Finn greets me
"Hi" I say, warily.
"Come with me" he says, leading me in the direction with his hands, leaving me with no choice at all.

We get to the main hall after awkwardly saying nothing the whole way. He kept looking at me with a stupid, dopey grin on his face, whereas I was still fuming at that jerk for what he had said and done yesterday at Glee. Ugh! What the hell going on? What was he going to do this time?

"Here we are"

I look around and see the whole football team around us. Someone who I've never seen before, 6 foot in height with spiky black hair, hands him a cup, smirking slyly. Oh no. I knew what was going to go down. I've experienced it.

It all happened too swiftly, but ran slow motion in my mind, every time I replay it. We had an massive audience, too, lots of popular people. It made it even worse.

Finn threw a blueberry flavoured slushy at Quinn, leaving her dripping, shivering. and her mouth open wide in shock. She had never been slushied before, she's the head cheerleader! That was an unspoken rule that he had just broken!

"That's what you get for being a coward and stealing MY GIRLFRIEND!" He shouted

He received high fives from the surrounded football players. It wasn't my time to slap this time.

Santana Lopez came strutting down the corridor, immediately knowing something had happened. She took Quinn away, cleaning her up and giving her best glaring dirty look at Finn. But, I think that made Finn feel like he had one.

"So, did you like that? It got her away. We can finally be together!!" Finn cheered.
"I wouldn't ever. EVER. Be with such a cold-hearted moron, divvy guy like you." I muttered, fuming.
I ran. You could almost hear my inner screams.
My heart was beating like drums inside my chest, like it was going to come out of my chest any moment now.
