Living with the dogs

Chapter 2

Chapter two:

Standing up straight I patted my jeans removing the dirt that I fell on. I looked straight at the dog that a guy was holding "keep that sh*t away from me" I snarled grabbing my bags once again and looking at the group of people standing out the house looking at me.

"The only sh*t¬ here is the dirt on you" the guy holding the dog yelled looking pissed. What the hell.

"Well this wouldn't have happened if you could control that dog of yours" I shot back glaring at the guy. He let the ugly dog onto the ground and started to make his way to me sending me cold stares. Before either one of us could start cursing at each other, a man held onto that douche bags shoulder muttering something to him. He looked at me then back at the guy before nodding and walking into the house. At least his smart not to make a whole commotion.

"Do mind Ace, he likes to meet new people" The guy I presume was my 'father' spoke.

"Well I don't" I said coldly "So keep that dog away from me." I began to pull my bags closer to the house but was stopped with him giving out his hand

"Let me help you with those" He offered giving me a small smile.

Grabbing onto my bags tighter "Listen Rick-"I know you probably find it weird for me calling him his name but technically his not my actual dad since his not married to my mom. "I didn't need your help for 16 years of my life so I think I can handle taking my bags into my room" His small smile disappeared but he nodded and moved aside.

"Can one of you girls show Charlotte to her room" he asked the two girls looking at me strangely but smiled and nodded. I followed them into the house passing two guys along the way. The house was much smaller looking that it appeared. Nothing fancy like white marble floor or anything just mainly wood-like house.

"Is that all your bag?" a girl with blonde hair asked looking at my things before looking at me.

"Yes" I answered looking down at three bags I had altogether. I couldn't take much of my things. Mom just said I could go shopping here for more clothes. As I walked up to my room I saw many bedrooms here. Three floors in total.

"The guys live upstairs" the other girl with brown hair spoke. "This is my room" she said pointing at one of the rooms "that's Laura's" pointing at the door further away from hers. We carried on walking a little more in the hallway where we reached a white door with pink stickers covered all around it. To me it screamed ¬puke¬ literally. How can someone have so much pink on their door? It looked gross.

"This is Lily's room and your is besides her" The girl spoke as I looked at the door next door.

"Who's Lily?" I asked.

"My names Laura" the blonde girl spoke "that's Megan" and Lily's probably still sleeping after all the cleaning we did yesterday"

"I never knew I was such a celebrity that everyone cleaned up for" I spoke walking into my room.

"Well you are new and Rick's daughter-"Megan spoke "So we had to make a good impression"

I knew Rick would do this. His going to try and win my heart and tell me he loves me and all that shi*t people do to kids they've never seen for long time or at all- like me. "Well your dog ruined the first impression. Now if you don't mind I'm really exhausted from the trip so I'm going to sleep" I said making my way to the door and closing it as they left. I could hear Megan scoff as she began to speak "How rude can she get"

What do they expect me to give a waterfall of thankfulness? As if. Flipping my hair to the other side I looked at the room, my room. It was way bigger than my previous room. There was a bookshelf near my bed that was not far from the window. Everything was wooden, the cupboard, bed. I put my bags tot the side not bothered to unpack them. Kicking my shoes off I walked over to the bed and jumped onto its softness letting it take me to any place then here.

Laura walked down the stairs with Megan complaining about something. It must be the highness not pleased with something.

"Where is Charlotte? Is she coming down for lunch" Rick asked. He looked so nervous and worried. I felt so sorry for him.

"She is so rude, she kicked us out her room not even saying simple thank you" Megan spoke with Laura nodding her head in agreement.

"You know I think she's kinda hot" Derek commented making Rick give him a cold stare. Both I and Ethan laughed; never say that in front of girl's dad.

"Don't stare at my daughter like that, any of you guys, understood?" he said looking at us seriously and waited for all three of us to agree.

"Rick I understand she's your daughter and all" I began "but your putting too much effort in her"

"She's my daughter-"

"Who calls you Rick" Megan added

"No manners" Laura commented

"Banned Ace out our house" Ethan said

"Okay Okay "Rick began "I understand she's not perfect and you all like Ace but give her a chance. She never had a good childhood like all of you"

We all remained silent. It's true not one of us had a nice memory of the past. "This is my only chance to make up with her" he spoke with a spark of hope in his voice.

Rick was very caring and nice to others, I've never seen him worry so much. "Don't worry we'll make her feel at home" Laura reassured giving a warmly smile.

This girls making my wolf so drained, standing up I began making my way out the room

"Where are you going?" Rick asked

  

"For a run, don't worry I won't be too long" I said shutting the door behind me. As I made my way to the back of the house where the forest lied further away, Ace ran up to me. Bending down I scratched behind his ear where it calms him down from all the energy he has "Come on boy we're going for a run" I said before walking to the forest so no-one could see me shift. Transforming into a four legged creature than two I began running deeper into the forest leaving Ace behind to catch up. I looked back at the house; the only place where I could be a myself, where all of us can be our true self is taken away cause of one girl. I've always hated humans. Now living with one is going to be a problem.
