Castiel Imagine

Imagine living in 18th century Italy and having a forbidden love with Castiel who comes to visit you on your balcony one night.  

A/N: Hey guys sorry I haven't really updated like I said I would I kind of had a writer's block but over break I took some time to clear my head and I got inspired to write this. So over break I watched The Book of Life for those of you who have not seen highly recommend watching it. Anyways getting off topic. So I was inspired by the scene in the movie where Monolo visits Maria and I also love the song he sings so that's where I got the inspiration for this. Please enjoy and let's get on with the Imagine.  

Your POV:   Your dad had decided to have another dinner in an attempt to find you a suitable husband. You sat around the table bored out of your mind while the men talked. Little did your father know that you had fallen in love with someone. But your father would never approve of the person you had fallen in love with seeing as your father wanted you to marry someone of importance to improve your status. The man you had fallen in love with was a stranger to you as you had not seen him before you bumped into him at the market a few months ago. When you looked at the man you instantly fell in love with eyes which were blue like the ocean and he had a jawline that could cut diamonds. You continued to meet him at the market and soon learned his name was Castiel. You were secretly courting him and he would come and visit you once a week after your father had gone to bed. Suddenly you are pulled out of your thoughts when you hear your name come up in the conversation. The man your father is talking to is some important person and you don't really care to know. The man talking to your father says "She is very beautiful. She would make a great wife and she is quiet so it would be easy for her to take care of all of my needs." This infuriated you because you did not want to marry a man who would only treat you like an object you suddenly burst out "Here you are sitting and talking about me like I am some common object and acting like I don't exist but I will not marry anyone who will treat me like this." You take a deep breath and say "If you don't mind I will retire to my chambers for the rest of the evening. Goodnight." As you head up the stairs to your room you're still fuming and you can't help but think of your lover Castiel who sees you as a human being instead of an object. You finally make it to your room where you sit on your bed lost in thought. You finally decide to go out on your balcony for some fresh air and to clear your head. You head out to the balcony and have barely been out on the balcony for five minutes when you suddenly hear the soft sound of a guitar and a male voice singing "I love you too much to live without you loving me back. I love you too much, heaven's my witness and this is fact." You look down and you see Castiel is the one singing and you can't help but smile softly at him as he continues "I know i belong when I sing this song. There's love above love but it's ours 'Cause I love you too much." Castiel is now looking up at you with all the love and adoration in the world and you know he is the one for you. "I live for you your touch I whisper your name night after night. I love you too much there's only one feeling that I know is right. I know I belong when I sing this song there's love above love and it's ours 'cause I love you too much." His voice has gotten stronger and you realize he has the voice of an angel and you really look at him with the moonlight shining on him and it is like you are truely seeing him for the first time. "Heaven knows your name I've been praying to have you come here by my side. Without you a part of me is missing. Just to make you my own I will fight. I know I know I belong when I sing this song. There's love above love and it's ours 'cause I love you too much." Castiel is standing right in front of your balcony at this point and he is looking at you with an adorable smirk on his face that makes your heart melt and you know this man is the one you are destined to be with for the rest of your life. You don't care what your father would think if you did go against him and marry someone you actually love. You look back down at Castiel as his voice grows and he sings "I love you too much. I love you too much. Heaven's my witness and this is a fact. You live in my soul, your heart is my goal. There's love above love and it's mine 'cause I love you. There's love above love and it's yours 'cause I love you. There's love above love and it's ours, if you ove me as much." Next second Castiel is in front of you and leaning in and you lean in as well and eventually your lips meet in a kiss and you can feel him smile into the kiss and eventually you both pull away. He looks into your eyes and says "Will you marry me?" It takes you a few seconds to process what he said but when you do without hesitation you say "Yes." You both lean in for another sweet kiss.
