"Come out, Gregory." Her voice soft yet sinister, "Gregory? Where are you? Gregory your friends are worried about you."
He cringed when he thought about what she meant. He ran to the dining area near the stage through a closed door. Thankfully it wasn't locked. But the door was heavy. Putting his weight onto the door he managed to slip through.
The door slammed into the lock. The loud thud echoing through the silence. Fear surged through him. Now she's gonna find him. He ran towards the tables to hide beneath. Luckily for him, the table sheets were still there. And were very long. Nearly touching the ground.
He stumbled over his shoelaces and his knee hit the table's makeshift seat and the marble floor. He whined and cringed. He wanted to scream out but one sound and that was it.
His knee throbbed and he crawled underneath.
He heard the door slam as muffled footsteps of the Bunny's feet walking by him. "C'mon out Gregory. It was just a g-glitch." Her voice sounded like a recording. But it was no doubt human. She seemed to be human.
She paced about as if teasing the idea that she'll get him. She giggled to herself as she continued her tease in her movements and the calm tone she used. It was like a game of hiding and seek to her. And the loser will die. The winner might get out alive.
Tears strolled his face. A hand over his mouth to cover his breathing and sobs. "Gregory, it was a long day for all of us. Please come out. It won't happen again. I p-promise." Gregory curled in a ball hoping to become smaller. Better yet, invisible to her.
"Come out and we can play a game together. Might I suggest a game of tag or my absolute favorite hide and seek?" She stopped pacing and held her head in one hand.
Muttering to herself. "I know, I-I know. I'll get him. He's here. I'm sure of it." She didn't see as she had a walkie-talkie or a microphone. Maybe under her mask?
"He seems perfect for you. Don't you think? So young and vulnerable. What? What do you mean?" She questioned whoever she was speaking to? "I won't. I will. I promise you that. What about his remnant? Do you want me to acquire that as well?"
Remnant? What's that?
The bunny physically flinched and apologize profusely. "Yes, of course, I apologize for my misconception."
Her voice shook a little. "Glitching" a bit. This time it sounded like a mixtape's film being scrambled. He tried to stay still as possible and when his foot kicked one of the legs of the table
A long clang as the floor panel connected to the table shifted. "No!" He whimpered. His heart-stopping. Dread filled him as the Bunny was about to kneel. Before anything could happen a loud clang was heard. It sounded like someone bumped into crates.
