CHAPTER 5

Kerem: Gamze?

Gamze: Kerem?

Gamze smiles at him and gives him a long hug.

"What are you doing here?" she asks

"Actually, what are you doing here?"

Gamze: "I came to drop Mavi off to my sister..."

Kerem: "Wait what?"

Gamze: "Yes, Kerem my sister...Hande"

Kerem looks at her with surprise

Hande: "KEREMMM AŞKIIMMM WHO'S AT THE DOOR?"

Gamze:"..."

Hande gets up because Kerem doesnt reply, to find her sister at the door!

Hande: "Gamze? What are you doing here?"

Gamze: "I came to drop off mavi, Handecim, like I said I would, because me and Caner are taking that weekend trip, remember?"

Hande: "aaahh yes..."

Gamze raises her eyebrow at her sister, who was wearing a blue oversized shirt. It clearly wasnt hers.

Gamze: "but clearly youre a bit busy right now...."

Kerem gives Hande a glance.

Hande: "no,no...I'll take my little mavi anytime of the day"

Gamze smiles.

Hande: "by the way, this is Kerem, my-"

Kerem: "boyfriend"

Hande glares at him.

Gamze: "you...and kerem??"

Hande: yep

Gamze: "OMG I KNEW IT, I TRIED TO HOOK YOU BOTH UP FOR TH LONGEST TIME BUT NEITHER OF YOU WOULD LISTEN"

She smirks.

"Fate, eh?"

Kerem laughs. "Yep"

He puts his arm around Hande's shoulder.

Gamze: "so urm Handecim, I wanted to talk to you about something "

Hande: "Of course, sister, come in"

Gamze passes Kerem Mavi in a carseat and he goes into the kitchen whilst the two sisters go up to Hande's room.

They sit on Hande's bed

Gamze: "Hande, I have something to ask you"

Hande: "I'm listening, sister"

Gamze: "I'm very happy you're with Kerem."

Hande smiles.

Gamze: "I'm serious, he's very sweet. I haven't seen your eyes shine like this in so long"

Gamze: "How long have you been a thing?"

Hande blushes.

Hande: "2 days"

Gamze: "2 DAYS? Oh God"

Hande: "but it feels like i've met him before somewhere...i don't know where though."

Gamze smiles. She knows exactly about it.

FLASHBACK FROM GAMZE:

Her and her sister are together in NYC with Dilara. She sees her sister likes the look of the barista guy but is too shy. She also notices the looks of the Barista towards Hande. 

So, she takes action and tells Dilara, who's also noticed. They arrange for the two to be alone in the cafe, hopefully to spark something. 

She was friends with Kerem, they'd gone to the same uni together, but she knew he'd wanted to be an actor so was working many jobs in NYC.

But when her plan had failed, when Hande had told her that the barista had kissed her without warning...she was sad that the two werent together. Hande had broken away from the kiss, shocked but surprised. But Hande regretted it.

"Its fate" she whispered

Hande: "did you say something, Gamze?"

Gamze: "no-"

Her phone rings: Caner

Gamze: "Hande I have to go now, take good care of Mavi, like i know you will!"

She rushes downstairs

"See you, Kerem"

"Mavi, say byebye to mum"

Mavi: "bebe"  

Gamze kisses mavi and leaves.

"Have fun!"

Kerem: Ok, little lady mavi, what would you like to do today?

He gets her out of her carseat and picks her up

Mavi squeals in excitement

Hande goes downstairs and kisses kerem's cheek.

"Youre so sweet, kerem bey."

Kerem laughs, and so does mavi: "Are we going to go to the park, miss mavii?"

Hande smiles.

"She likes you"

Kerem laughs: "shes so adorable, she's like you when you were little"

Hande: "how do you know-"

Kerem smirks: "there's a picture of u and gamze as kids in your room"

Hande: eheeee

"We can go to the park, but after we finish our breakfast"

Kerem: "ugh, your aunt is so borring," he says to mavi, who just claps.

"See? Even Mavi agrees"

Hande: "Keremm eat your breakfast"

"Alright."

He sits next to her, and puts Mavi on his lap

"Hande, can i try an olive?"

"Sure, and gives him one"

Kerem kisses her lips

"they're delicious" he says, and Hande smiles

Hande: "Mavi, your uncle is an opportunitist."

Hande's phone rings

 "Alo?"

Gunfer: "Ahh, Hande, how are you?"

Hande: "I'm good, how are you?"

Gunfer: "I'm good, thanks, Have you got an answer for the offer?"

Hande looks at Kerem, who is talking to Mavi

"How can I leave Kerem by himself there?" she thought to herself

"Yes, I've thought about it"

Gunfer:....

Hande: "I'll accept the offer!!"

Gunfer smiles: "Thanks, Hande"
