The cuts on my wrists had reopened from where Jace was holding me. He was right, he was barley touching me but they were delicate as the wounds were delicate and not healed properly yet. The blood stained my hoodie but Milo hadn't noticed because he was busy locking the door again. I started to feel faint and lightheaded then Milo turned back around just as I lost my strength. My legs gave from under me and I started to see dots clouding my vision. He gently caught me and ran down to the bottom of the dungeon.
"Skylar I need you to stay with me, okay?"
I heard him but my eyes were slowly closing. I felt like I hadn't slept in years.
"But I'm so tired." I protested drowsily. I started to shut my eyes. I needed sleep and he was so warm.
"No, no, no. Keep your eyes open. Just a bit longer, okay?"
I summed in response. I really wanted to sleep. He placed me down onto a bench. My body simply flopped down. I had no strength.
Whilst I was fighting off sleep Milo was rummaging through cupboards and chucking things onto the floor until he found a box at the back.
I started to get a bit freaked so I tried to muster up some strength and drag myself away but I barley got a centimetre away before he saw.
"I'm not going to hurt you I promise. I need to stitch you up. You're losing blood fast and at this rate..." he trailed off and grabbed the box.
He placed it down on the end of the bench and pulled out a needle and thread.
"No." I protested. It was all I could say. I had no strength or energy anymore. The dots were becoming bigger and making my vision more black.
"I need to stitch you up. It wont hurt I promise."
I wasn't scared of the pain. Nor the needles. I wanted to die. To be put out of my misery. My life ended long ago. Ever since then I've just been existing and I'm bored of it. I just wanted it to end.
"Let me die." It came out as barley a whisper but he heard me.
"No. You are still young. You have so much to live for still."
I don't. I was dead a long time ago.
Those were my last thoughts befor everything went black.
Milo's pov
I was getting the needle and thread ready as fast as I could. It broke my heart to hear her say those words. I wonder what must have happened to make her that broken. I had the needle and thread ready to stitch her up but when I turned around her eyes were closed.
NO.
I ran to her side and checked for a pulse. It was there but it was faint.
"Skylar stay with me!"
I raced to stitch her up. She was losing blood and fast. We didn't have much time left.
I pulled her sleeves up and I was infuriated with what I saw. All of her arms were covered wit hold and new cuts, burns and gun shots. I will murder the person who did this to her!
The left side was worse than the right so I quickly got to work. I was speedy because I was used to it. Working as a guard came with cleaning and stitching prisoners up fast so the gang can continue with their torture.
Soon enough both arms were stitched up and she was still breathing.
I gently scooped her up and ran down to the mini hospital at the other side of the mansion. She may be stitched up but she still needs medical attention. She looks like she's been starved and she needs an IV until she wakes up which could take days.
As soon as I made it Katherine was there to take her. That's the nurse. We all trust her with our lives. Mainly because she has saved them at least once.
"What happened to her?" She asked concerned. She took her from my arms and ran into the emergency room. She placed her down onto the table and immediately got and IV set up.
"I'm not completely sure what the whole story is but she has cuts all over her body and two on her wrists reopened but I stitched them up. She lost alot of blood and almost died." I was so worried. I can't loose her again. Not after how long it took to find her the last time.
Bit of a short one but what do we think to the cliff hanger??
That's all for today. Love you. Bye guys!! Xx
