Ring.
The familiar bell of granny's chimed as another compatriot entered.
"Neal!" grunted a mother looking towards her mess of a son. "What did we teach you about manners, I certainly didn't raise you in a barn."
"Sorry, Mum." His head hanging low between his shoulders. A looming, strong figure approached the table, placing down to large coffees chuckling as he did.
"Take it easy on him Mary-Margaret, it's not like we're at a dinner for nobles." He tried to persuade her.
"David," she exclaimed astonished at his comment.
"Plus it's a burger for Pete's sake. It's meant to be eaten in a less than prettier fashion. Eat up, Neal."
The young boy raised his head, trying to meet his mother's eyes. "Fine," she reluctantly mumbled. Without almost no hesitation he had grabbed the burger and was devouring it.
David made his seat by his son's side, wiping off some of the ketchup that had escaped to his cheek.
Ring.
Yet again the door to granny's opened wide as a few entered.
"Careful" came the voice of another, "Oh watch for the door."
The door suddenly closing on the man in the doorway, but not quick enough as he placed his foot halting its movement. "I got it, love."
"Ok," she smiled. "Oh, I'll take that," she said as she reached for the bag slung around the mans left shoulder.
"Emma," Mary-Magaret called out.
"Mum," the woman replied.
Mary-Magaret stood up from the booth as both reached out for the hug, the man walking up from behind.
"Let me help you there Hook.", David said. "Thanks mate." Hook replied, handing over the adorable baby Hope he held in his hookless arm to David, who sat back down in the booth proceeding to show the excited Neal.
"Hook," Mary-Magaret smiled as she finished her hug with Emma, now leaning into a hug with him.
"So," Emma started, "where's Regina?" Looking around, but finding her nowhere in sight.
"She got caught up in affairs again, wouldn't count on her bringing her anytime soon."
"Again?" Emma exclaimed.
"Well there is a lot to do, this is a first for everyone and many are still trying to understand what's happening."
They all made their way into the booth, Hook pulling up a chair next to David. A waiter coming overtaking their order, and started partaking in a good old granny's meal.
About an hour later, "Regina!" Mary-Margaret exclaimed as her majesty made her way through the door, a smile stretching across everyone's face.
