It's the first day of high school and I am very nervous. Considering it's an all girls school you never know how catty the girls could be. Sadly, I have to wake up early for this is how school is. I do my normal routine, wake up, take a shower, brush my teeth, and all the normal things most people would do. I grab my bag and the money from the kitchen table and start walking to the bus stop. I walk at a fast pace, which soon turns into running, in hope that I would be able to catch the early bus. Eventually, after running two blocks I hop on the bus and start heading off to school.

I arrive at my new school and see everyone going inside. I decide to go inside as well because I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. As I was walking down the first hall I began to see familiar faces. I stopped and hugged everyone I knew and continued on my way.

Back then what I was really excited about was seeing the river that was right oustide the back of the school. Today, I'm not as excited about it like how I was a few months ago. Now what really interests me about this school is the mansion. It's so mysterious in so many ways. Many of the students disagree with me and could care less about the mansion. Before it was converted into part of the school, it was actually a home. With a fireplace in almost everyone room, four floors that has atleast five rooms on each one, looking so elegant by day, and then turns into this mysterious house by dark.

As I walk down the hallway, I see a burst of light coming out of the cafe. I start walking towards it to see what was creating such a beautiful aray of lights. It was the sun, overlooking the river and the two bridges near by. Luckily that day warm and I was able to go outside and see everything up close. When I went outside there was not a single person there. I wondered how someone could  just pass by this magnificent view without a care for it. Instead, everyone was inside talking to eachother, making new friends, and seeing how eachothers summer was. Being a freshman and all, I didn't start off with much friends and I was very shy, in other words, I stayed outside.

I hear the first bell ring yet again just like everyother day. I head off to the mansion one last time before I have to start class. This is normally how I start off the day. I go to the top floor of the mansion and look at the stained glass ceilings above my head. Then I walk to the staircase covered in green matting and look up, just wondering what secrets are held up there. Many people overlook this small part. They just walk right by it as if its just another picture of the past graduates. What I hope for is to one day, have the guts to walk up those stairs and finally discover what is up there. One day, just one day I will be the person to go up those stairs and share what I discovered. I would be sharing news that many people have never heard of because I would be the first to reveal the truths hidden in this home, this school.
