A small change

Y/N's POV

I can't describe how i feel right now. I don't feel sad but i don't feel happy either. Usually people would say I feel numb but I really don't think it's that either.

I slowly get up from the bed i've been in for the last 24 hours to see myself in the mirror. What have i become? I used to be such a smart, confident, happy girl and now I'm.... I don't even know. I walk back to my bed and sit down. I think about how great my
life was until.... until what? What went wrong? I have so many questions but no one to ask. There's no one to answer them. I look at the time seeing it's almost 5 in the morning and decide to try to get some sleep. I've been surviving off energy drinks for weeks now. I don't know what went wrong with me.

I wonder where my friends went. What happened to them? Why don't i see them anymore? What happened to my family? Are they... alive ? I live alone so I have no idea what my family is doing.

I want to fix my life up, but how? Maybe I should get a better job. I work at a bar and rarely get any days off. Luckily, i was allowed this week off. I'm 22 so shouldn't i be out partying and drinking with my friends? I get treated horribly at this job, mainly because i'm a woman. Every time i work there, random old guys hit on me or touch me in places i'm not comfortable with. I tried talking to my boss about it but he never cares.

Short time skip (y/n couldn't sleep)

Considering I have no where to be right now, i decide i should take a shower and get some groceries. Though i have no motivation whatsoever, i still need to try to take care of myself.  I decided to wear a green oversized shirt that says " Pomona" with black pants and boots. (it looks good in the picture i found but it won't let me insert it here 💔💔)

As i walk to the store, i see a flyer for a wanted job at a library. I pick up the flyer and put it in my bag just in case i want to apply there later. I get to the store and get some lemonade, waffle/pancake mix, y/f/s (your favorite snack), and a small pack of water bottles. I check out and start heading home.

At Home

I put away my few items then pull out the flyer i found. I like to read books and i hate loud areas so i think this might be a job for me. I send in my application and go to bed.

In the Morning

I check my phone to see the library i applied at has already responded and asked me to come in for an interview tomorrow at 3 pm. I get my clothes ready for tomorrow and decide to clean up a little bit. By the time i got done with all of that, it was already 4 in the afternoon. I decide to listen to music until i fall asleep, as usual.

The Interview

It's around 2:45 and I'm waiting in the parking lot of the Library. The library is called Willow Tree Public Library and I'm supposed to look for a tall blonde guy named Erwin.

3 o'clock rolls in and Erwin and I are talking about the job. Erwin introduces me to the people who will most likely be my coworkers, Petra, Miche, Moblit, Gunther, and Oulo.

The next day (sorry for so many skips idk what to put)

I get a text from Willow Tree saying i got the job and that i would start in about a week. I decided to tell my boss that i was quitting at the bar. He was mad because I was a good worker and I didn't put in a 2 weeks notice but he still let me go.  With the little money I had, i went shopping and bought the outfit I'd wear in the first day at my job. I bought a brown coat with dark brown trousers and a white polo shirt. 
I was going to look so good.

I spent the rest of the week thinking about how it would be at my new job and hoped for the best.

The first day

On my first day, Petra, Oulo, and Miche were there. All i did most of the day was talk to them. Sometimes, i would secretly watch the people in the library to see if any of them were doing anything suspicious. I found no one doing anything too weird. 2 People stuck out to me though, not because they were weird, but because of the way they looked. One was a blonde boy with blue eyes who seemed really into the book he was reading. He had been there most of the day. The second person was a tall women with dark brown hair in a ponytail with glasses. They both seemed like really nice people and had been there all day.
