Morro

"You saw what in your dream?" Jay exclaimed. Morro's reaction wasn't any different. Everyone, including Flame, began to question Zane about his 'nightmare'. "I saw Morro in the nightmare as well," said Zane with a hint of uncertainty in his voice, "but when he spoke, I could tell that his voice didn't belong to him at all. I'm certain it was the voice of that monster."

All eyes turned to Morro, and he was a bit creeped out at their condescending glares. He noted with a small bit of defiance that Kai, in particular, looked righteously furious. He had a feeling that there was more to him and Lloyd than he had thought.

But despite his evildoings in the past, he was determined to make up for it.

"I know for sure that I wasn't whoever that thing was, and it wouldn't make sense if I turned against you all now. I'm coming with you on this mission and help you find our Sensei every bit of the way," he said with all honesty. He gulped, then said, "I'll try going back through the mirror that leads to Sensei Wu, that way you'll be updated."

Everyone seemed to have been assured by this, much to Morro's benefit. He really didn't need any more pressure on him. When everything had been gathered in the Ultra Stealth Raider, the ninja placed their belongings in their own vehicles. Nya made it to the control room at the front of the ship and steered it in the opposite direction.

During their ride to Ninjago City, Morro wandered the ship, searching through rooms and closets, only to find cleaning supplies almost land on him. He sighed, creasing his brows. It was all difficult for him to comprehend, too. Last time he checked, he'd been stuck in the Cursed Realm, then a bright portal just appeared right in front of him. And it led him to a hallway of mirrors. None of it made sense at all. Still, though. He wasn't complaining.

Chattering voices were heard in a room across the hallway. Morro walked over and opened the door, finding Cole, Zane, Jay, Kai, and a young girl with bright orange hair sitting together. With a slight twinge of annoyance, Morro sensed the room's aroma grow tense and uncomfortable.

"What?" he asked with an edgy tone to his voice, and he knew as soon as he had said it that he would regret it. The young girl looked pretty scared at that point, and she hid behind Jay. Morro took a wild guess and assumed they were siblings, finding it somewhat clear they were related.

Kai scowled angrily, and Jay responded with a lot of exaggeration, as always. "What? What? You're seriously asking that right now?" He kept going before Morro could cut in. "Ha! Y'know, let's not forget what you did all those months ago." he said accusingly, beginning to list obvious reasons.

"Slipping through the portal from the Cursed Realm when you weren't supposed to, stealing the Allied Armor of Azure, bringing your 'friends' with you, getting the Realm Crystal to free the Preeminent—"

Word after word drifted by like a fog. Morro knew this already, but he cast a brief side-glance to Kai as Jay's list got worse, and the ninja's gaze chilled him to the bone. His amber-colored eyes said everything.

"—you almost cursed the other Realms, Stiix had nearly been drowned, you possessed—"

"Alright, alright, I get it!" Morro objected, lashing an arm out in frustration. Coming here had been a bad idea.

"The news of the Preeminent had been broadcasted on TV in Ninjago City, too. So citizens still feel on edge," Cole added.

"They are slowly healing from the shock, especially the inhabitants of Stiix, which is, undoubtedly, a great thing," Zane murmured optimistically, but Flame didn't look so sure. And Kai didn't, either.
