You stepped out of your room and into the living room. You had expected to see Mr. Aizawa still standing at the front door, but no - he was already passed out on the sofa. Guess he was too tired to even reach his bed.

"Mr. Aizawa?" you whispered, trying to see if he really was asleep.

"Not now," he groaned, turning over and facing away from you.

You sighed and grabbed the blanket from his room before returning and gently placing it over him. "Good night," you muttered, and quietly went back into your room.

Nothing besides the moonlight from the nearby window illuminated the dark bedroom. It was cold. Freezing. A small breeze was coming from the open window, the curtains were flying over the small crib at the side of the room where a toddler rest inside.

The infant had gotten up from her crib, trying to climb over the bars that kept her imprisoned. Tears filled the girl's eyes. She started to babble helplessly as the pacifier fell from her drool-covered lips.

A hand reached out from the darkness and gripped onto the girl's wrist tightly - enough to break the bones beneath her skin and muscle. A crack filled the silence of the room and she started to cry uncontrollably.

"Be good when I leave you, my little experiment." The man twisting the child's wrist chuckled under his breath and let go.

More tears escaped her eyes as she fell back into the crib. She held her wrist tightly and whimpered softly.

"(y/n)? (y/n)? Wake up!" You startled at the voice and raised your head from the comfort of your arms. Your wrist was throbbing, maybe it was from falling asleep on it.

You yawned and reached your arms above you, stretching your stiff limbs. "Huh? What is it?"

Denki laughed and pointed at the drool on your face before he realized something else. "Wait. Were you crying?"

Your brows furrowed in confusion and you went to touch your face. He was right. There were tears still rolling down your cheeks. Was it from the dream? "Sorry. I think I had a nightmare. I can't really remember it..." you whispered, wiping your eyes with your sleeve.

"Nightmare? How can you even sleep that much during class? Would've thought you'd be more scared knowing you have to go and face Aizawa back at home." He shuddered at the thought. "Well, Todoroki's been waiting for you outside. He asked me to come wake you up."

"He was waiting for me?" Your eyes widened and you stood up from your desk.

You regretted your reaction immediately as you noticed the look on your friend's face. "Oh. I see. Are you two dating? You're oddly close to him even though he never talks to anyone," he teased as he noticed the light blush on your face.

"Shut up, idiot! We're just friends! And I'm going now! Have fun walking home all alone!" you yelled, grabbing your bag and heading out of the empty classroom.

Laughter filled the room as ran out. "Hey! Don't worry (y/n)! I'll keep your secret to myself!"
