Wolf stared at his once great pack, many where injured and some were no longer with them. He looked to the alpha of the pack who just attacked, the alpha was black with a large white streak running down his muscular body. Wolf let out a threatening howl, to which the alpha replied with another, signalling that his pack should leave.
The alphas large pack left, the sound of paws thudding against the forest floor was no more than an echo. Wolf was once an alpha himself, until his pack was ambushed.
One of the female wolves stepped forward her head bowed in submission or fear, he couldn't tell. Wolf did nothing when she nudged him, she looked into his eyes before stepping back. The entire pack looked to Wolf for help and guidance, he looked back one last time at the women and men wolves of all shapes and sizes, before sprinting into the night.
Four years later:
Wolf always felt guilty about what he did, he thought about his pack and if they survived. After he left, he turned into a rogue, without a pack he was alone and after a while he didn't mind it that much.
He would never stay in the same territory twice, he would hunt for himself and sleep in caves and rock formations.
Wolf sat by the river his grey/brown tail wagging because of the the fish carelessly swimming in the clear water in front of him. With a fast swipe, he had a shiny fish in his jaws. He ate his small meal in peace watching as the clouds slowly shifted into different creations as the moved across the sky.
Wolfs fur was grey with small brown spots, with a white stomach and left paw. He had a strong build that came from being an alpha. After his meal he explored the new land he was on no other wolves were around but deer and woodland creatures did come and go.
He ran widely through the light forest his tongue hanging out his open muzzle. Life seemed great as he forgot about his past life and focused on where he was going. He stopped to rest by a large thick tree. He was about to be on his way again when whimpering stopped him.
Wolf followed the sound of crying to the stream he was near before. In the water was creamy white wolf, she had a familiar smell that Wolf couldn't remember we're he knew it from. She was washing herself off in the cool water, she whimpered again as a she washed red from a large bite mark on her leg.
Trying to get closer he stepped on a twig causing a loud snap to be heard all over the place. Her head snapped to him and she went into a fighting stance ready to attack. He did the same and snarled.
She sniffed the air and stopped the fighting stance to walk over to him. She nudged Wolf and happily jumped around him. He did the same so that they were both frolicking, she ran away still smiling. He chased her smiling as well.
She came to a stop in a clearing and Wolf started sniffing the air madly the smell of his old pack, mixed with new smells flooded his nose. Many different wolves of shapes and sizes came in front of him.
His pack had grown larger since he saw them. They all bowed there heads and he immediately knew what they meant. He stepped on the rock in front of him and howled. The pack joined in highlighting that they found there new alpha.
Although being an alpha, he and the she-wolf never stayed with the pack, together they travelled to different countries and found new packs and new culture. Still never forgetting there great pack.
