"how is dad?" she asked, playing with the little locket of the necklace around her neck that she'd received a few birthdays ago from her father. "as usual. he was asking me about the time your flight takes off." her sister replied and y/n sighed, leaning her hand on the armrest.

"alright. what is it?" hyuna asked, giving up on avoiding the weird silence that came around every time it was her older sister's turn to speak. "am i doing this right?" she blurted after throwing her head back on the sofa. "i mean, i'm sitting on a chair in seoul airport, waiting for a flight that's gonna fly me away from everybody i know to a different country." she groaned a little, rolling her eyes.

"but i thought you said it yourself, you wanted to work in that japanese sector of your company. isn't this what you wanted to do?" her sister intended. "i did." she quickly said before biting her lip. "i... wanted to earn more money and get my life straight. there's this weird sense of accountability that continuously urges me to do this." y/n added, gulping a little at her words.

"that's okay. but you didn't exactly answer my question. is this what you wanted? and still, want?" the younger proposed. "i don't know. i just don't want to be the older one all the time, y'know? i just don't feel like taking responsibility right now." y/n clicked her tongue, murmuring the words.

"the truth, sis." she said and y/n looked out the huge window, staring at an aeroplane being parked. "i just wanna go home at this point." she replied, biting her lip. "alright, I'm gonna hang up now." hyuna answered, knowing that the older will probably never tell her her real thoughts.

"but there's still time, you know?" she added before hanging up.

y/n stared into nothingness as she removed the cellphone from her side. she looked down at her suitcases her passport and the boarding pass, proceeding to read the words on it.

south korea to japan.

she frowned and gulped before her rapid breathing increased as she glanced back at her mobile phone. closing her eyes, she exhaled deeply while the flight passengers were summoned.

"you're already seated?" jungkook inquired, changing the gears of his vehicle. "yes." she replied in return making him nod. "great. call me when you get there, okay?" he added and received silence in return. he was about to hang up before she said something, making him press the device back to his ear.

"yeah?" he asked with raised eyebrows. "found you." she mumbled and he frowned, confused. his car met with a sudden jolt when he pushed the breaks as a black coloured taxi pulled over right in front of him. "hey, hold on for a second," he spluttered before removing the device away from his ear, agitated on the driver. "excuse me, can't you see!" he shouted in an angry tone while getting out of the car, his already pissed off mood intensifying on the occurrence of the almost-accident.
