It was Friday, and Class 1-A's atmosphere was dreadful. A whole week of hero training, late homework assignments and Present Mic's loud screeching - literally.
And Denki Kaminari was not going to let anything stop him from going straight to bed and collapsing. Or so he thought...

Kirishima's PoV -

'Man, it's been one hell of a week!' I thought stretching my arms high into the air.
From the corner of my eye, I could make out Kamibro putting his stuff away and getting up. I hurried over to ask if he wanted to hang, just us bros, y'know?

Kaminari's PoV -

Just as I was getting up from my seat, I felt a pair of strong arms wrapping around me. I jumped, not expecting that. I turned to see Kiri giving me his best shark smile causing me to turn a light shade of pink. Okay, so maybe I might have a crush on my best friend- But, in my defence, how could anyone not have a crush on the big bean?!

"You good buddy? You seem a little pink?" He asked, backing up to give me a little space.

"Uh, yeah, I'm good! Just a little surprised, haha...." I replied awkwardly.

"If ya say so. Anyways, I wanted to see if we could hang out today at my dorm room. You know, play some video games and catch up with each other?" He looked so excited, I couldn't say no!

KiriBae's PoV -

"Sure." Kamibro smiled sweetly, and for a second, just for a second I felt my stomach do backflips.

"It's a date then!!" I grinned like a madman, but I didn't care because Kami would be spending more time with me.

I heard him chuckle slightly, before we headed to the dormitory. On the way we ran into Mina who gave us a smug-like look before running after Jirou and Uraraka.

⋘Time Skip to when they are outside Kiri's door⋙

Kamibabe's PoV -

We were outside Kiri's dorm and while he fiddled with his keys, I couldn't help but think back to that evil look Mina gave us. I knew she was up to something the second our eyes locked, but what?

I snapped out of my thoughts by Kiri gently shaking me.

"Huh? Wha-"

"Dude, you sure you're good? You spaced out when I called you." Kiri seemed worried so I made a joke to lighten the mood.

"yeah, I was just wandering if fish get thirsty." I lied, but if I told him I was worrying about what Mina's planning, he would just question it further and find out that I liked him. He'd probably be disgusted and wouldn't even want to be my friend and just the thought of it hurt like hell.
