Backstory:

Kit life:
Sparrowkit was the only surviving kit of the bold warrior Sprucefang and loving leader Poppystar of RiverClan. She was born in the middle of a particularly hard, barren, and cold leaf-bare, and her two other siblings were stillborn. The fact that she survived despite the odds and fought so hard to stay alive had convinced her clan that she was special, and they had no doubt that she would one day do amazing things. Sparrowkit's mother, Poppystar, loved her dearly and taught her everything she knew about being a leader. From a young age, she learned the importance of love, justice, and empathy towards not only her clanmates but other cats and clans as well. Though she was incredibly loyal to her clan, family, and her friends (Pikekit and his sister Echokit), she valued fairness and freedom above all else. Even though she was only a kit, she decided that she would always do what she believed was right, even if it hurt her. Sparrowkit looked up to her parents, especially her mother, and wanted to be as brave and amazing as they were.

Apprentice life:
Sparrowpaw had her apprentice ceremony at the same time as her best friends Pikepaw and Echopaw. Her mentor was Tanglewing, the senior RiverClan deputy who was often gossiped about for being strange or mysterious. Though she had heard the gossip, she didn't mind at all because her mother trusted him and so did she. He seemed like a kind enough mentor, but she did notice that sometimes he would disappear from camp or not show up to training sessions, and she was left to train with Pikepaw and Echopaw and their mentors instead. One day Sparrowpaw's curiosity got the better of her and she decided to follow him. His scent trail led her to the two-leg place, where you came across a young white and gray tom with a beautiful dappled pelt and striking, curious yellow eyes who introduced himself as Adonis. Sparrowpaw explained to the rogue what she was doing and he listened to her stories of clans in awe, then agreed to help her track down her mentor since he knew these parts better than her. To her horror, she found Tanglewing conversing with a group of rogues. When they spotted her and Adonis spying on them, she was sure she was done for, but Tanglewing defended her. He told her that what he was doing was too important for her to understand, but he would make sure she was safe and that it was for the good of the clan. He made Sparrowpaw and Adonis promise that they would not tell anyone and she reluctantly agreed because she trusted Tanglewing and loved her mentor because he seemed to truly care about her and the clan. After that day, she continued to occasionally visit the two-leg place to see Adonis, who was quickly becoming one of her most trusted friends.

Warrior life:
The day Sparrowpaw became a warrior was perhaps one of the happiest days of your life. She was named Sparrowdance for her boldness, empathy, and unique way of approaching situations. Her friends became Pikestripe and Echoflame, and the whole clan was overjoyed for the three. However, this time of joy and peace took a sudden turn when, a season later, her mother was killed while out hunting. Evidence was found that it was ThunderClan's doing, and when Tanglewing became Tanglestar he immediately declared war on ThunderClan. Sparrowdance was heartbroken and furious and went to consult Adonis about what had occurred. Adonis, confused, admitted that he had seen not ThunderClan, but a group of rogues and a few RiverClan warriors, including Tanglestar, leaving the site of her mother's death. Sparrowdance soon understood that this was all a plot for Tanglestar to gain control, and the war on ThunderClan was used to distract the clan and was completely unjustified. She shared this information with Echoflame and Pikestripe and begged them to help her make this right, but they looked up to Tanglestar and refused to betray him. When she went up in front of the clan and shouted to them about what happened, all of them either turned against her, refusing to believe Tanglestar would do such a thing, or were too afraid to speak up. Sparrowdance's father tried to stand up for her but was no match for the fury of the clan and backed down. Tanglestar declared that she was to be exiled for trying to deceive the clan and turn them against each other. As Sparrowdance left the clan that night, Tanglestar told her privately that he wished it didn't have to be like this, and that she could've been such a good successor if she had just played along.

Rogue life:
Though she had lost her home, friends, and family, Sparrowdance would not stand for this injustice. She was not going to let innocent ThunderClan and RiverClan cats die in a silly battle, and she would avenge her mother. Adonis agreed to stand by her, always, and help her because he loved her and she loved him too. Sparrowdance spent months observing the clan from the shadows, finding those who had their own doubts about Tanglestar, and bringing them to her side. You were able to recruit both RiverClan cats, rogues who were friends of Adonis, and even some ThunderClan cats who trusted her and were sick of this war. One day one of Sparrowdance's spies in RiverClan reported that Tanglestar had taken a litter of newborn ThunderClan kits hostage and killed their parents. Enraged, she worked with Adonis and the spies to save the kits from the clan. She and Adonis named the three toms Dewkit, Frondkit, and Raykit, and raised them as their own sons. After a season of preparing, making plans, and gaining allies, Sparrowdance launched an attack on RiverClan to win it back. The battle was going well until she saw her kits (who were now Dewpaw, Frondpaw, and Raypaw) be targeted by Echoflame and Pikestripe, who had backed them into a corner. In order to defend them, she took on both of her old friends at once and sustained serious injuries. The battle was painful and hard but, in the end, Sparrowdance won and Tanglestar was killed, though her injuries were fatal. She stayed alive just long enough to make sure her father could take control of the clan and become Sprucestar, tell Adonis and her kits that she loved them, and peacefully passed away in the medicine den the night after the battle knowing the clan was safe once again and she had saved them.
