Chapter Four

"So, where do you wanna see first?" asked looking at Sukina as she placed her middle finger on her chin in thought

"hmmmmmm" she snapped her fingers " I know! there's an old friend I wanna see. we could also grab some supper while at it" she said and Rein smiled

"of course" she looked back at the boys "oi!! we're following Sukina to her friend's" she said and both boys looked away from the store they were staring at

"sure" they chorused. Later on as they walked, Rein noticed Sukina was walking towards the Town square

" So, Sukina, this friend we're gonna meet, is it a male or female?" she asked and Sukina looked at her

"oh, it's a female"

"cool, cool". Two minutes later

"is it a close friend or just an acquaintance?" Rein asked

"well you could say a close friend. Although, other than Riku-san she was the only friend I had as a kid" Sukina replied

"oh, that's just sad" Rein sympathized

"but it's okay, now I'm a grown teen and possibly, I have a whole class of friends!" Sukina exclaimed fist bumping the air

"yeah, you go girl!" Rein cheered punching the air upward. Sukina glanced behind her and saw Uriku and RJ staring at the same thing, walking at the same pace and, oddly they'd said almost the same thing since she arrived

"they really are like the same person" she commented and Rein looked back at them

"yeah, it's just like Yenwu-kun said and I quote 'they are inseparable' " she said and both girls giggled. Just then, they arrived at a Barbecue Joint and a blonde girl their age ran out yelling

"Oi! stop chasing me with that spoon, I didn't mean to spill sauce on ya!" she said not noticing the four teens who were now watching. Another blonde, boy, a bit older than them also came out holding a large wooden spoon with a big red stain on his blue shirt

"of course not, now get your girlish ass over here so I can spank 'm" he said walking towards her and grabbing her waist

"nooooo, nooooo" the girl whined as she squirmed trying to pry his arm off of her

"um, hello?" Rein called out, though it came out more of a question. That got their attention and the blonde siblings looked up to meet the gaze of all four and they sweat dropped. Immediately, the elder of the two released his sister

"hahahaha, sibling love huh? can take away your fo focus for as long as a lifetime" he said and both he and his sister laughed awkwardly and the sister suddenly had a look of realization on her face

"Sukina?" she called out. Sukina nodded and the siblings gasped

"come on in, I'll go tell Mama" the elder said quickly walking into the joint leaving the girl

"well Chyenq, I notice you and your brother haven't gotten over your complexes" Sukina said and Chyenq, the blonde flared up

"we do not have complexes, as a matter of fact Chen already has a girlfriend" Chyenq said and Sukina shook her head

"it must hurt a lot" she said feigning sadness

"it does not hurt at all!" she yelled and Sukina laugh

"okay, I understand putting forward the introductions but at least can we go in" Rein complained feeling left out

"oh, I am so so sorry. Chyenq, these are my newly acquired friends Rein and RackJee" Sukina introduced pointing at then as she called their names

"friends, this is Chyenq" she concluded and Rein stretched out her hand for a handshake which Chyenq accepted

"nice to meet ya" she said

"it's nice to meet you too" Chyenq replied before nodding at Uriku and RackJee

"come on, let's all go inside" she said

"okay!" they chorused as they followed Chyenq into the joint

*****2 hr timeskip*****

"I'm stuffed" Rein said sighing as she Pat her stomach and Sukina giggled

"that's just because you wouldn't control yourself" RackJee said and Rein glared at him

"whatever" she huffed while RackJee stared confused

"well then, we should probably go our separate ways now" Uriku said looking at the now orange sky as the sun set

"I guess so" Sukina agreed looking at him

"if so, then I and Sukina will take our leave now, sayonara" Rein said quickly as she pulled Sukina away leaving the two boys to stare after them

"what was that about?" Sukina asked pointing in the direction they came from with her thumb

"oi, oi, oi, oi-"

"oi what?!" Sukina cut in "and why are you whispering?" she added in a whisper

"eh I don't know" Rein shrugged "BTTP, you like him don't ya" she whispered wriggling her eyebrows in a teasing manner while nudging Sukina. Immediately Sukina turned peachy

"wh- who- wh-wh-what do you mean?" Sukina stuttered

"aha! you're stuttering AND blushing" Rein said "I'm no detective but I'm pretty sure that means you're lying or nervous" she added nodding her head like she had just made a huge discovery and was proud of herself

"no! I'm neither of those! you're just delirious or tired, you need sleep so I won't waste your precious time Oyasumi-nasai" Sukina said quickly as she started to speed walk away

"ma-" Rein started "te.." Sukina was already gone. Rein sighed 'it's such a shame, I couldn't even tell her about the hang out tomorrow' she thought shaking her head

"oh well, she'll find out some way or the other" she said aloud as she turned and started to walk home.
