Third Person POV

Alas, Asher, who was usually reliable and calm, now found himself struggling with a chaotic storm of thoughts, his mind in disarray and his head throbbing with pain. This person, known for being independent and not relying on his parents, was now behaving like a stubborn child, a stark contrast to his usual self.

Serena watched this unusual behavior with a heavy heart, standing quietly at the door with tears in her eyes. She was amazed that the typically composed Asher could be so completely unraveled by the influence of one person. With a slight gesture, she called Blake over to the hallway, and the young man looked uneasy as he obeyed her silent request.

Serena wiped her tears, went to Asher's bedside, and sat down gently, showing how much she cared for her troubled companion.

"A penny for your thoughts?"She said while tapping his foot. Asher felt a tap on his foot and glanced over to see Serena. Upon spotting her, he promptly embraced her. Serena, taken aback by his sudden hug, returned it.

"Where you have been?"

"I was spending some alone time. Who thought that in few weeks many things will happen, creating a hurricane in everyone's life."

Asher chuckled as he continued to embrace her. Serena comforted him by patting his shoulder, as if assuring him that everything would be alright.

"What happened Asher? How did you become like this?" Serena inquired with a quavering voice.

"Serena, tell me, it's wrong to give false hope, right? Then why she gave me hopes if she never meant to do so. Why do I have to suffer? Why did we even talk? Why did I even go near her? Did she even know how am I suffering?"

Asher held her as if her life depended on it. Serena felt that if she let him speak like that, he would break down. She knew what she had to do. If not today, he might lose himself.

"Are you crazy? Just because of a girl, you did all this drama?"

Asher was stunned, no, he was utterly astonished. He had always believed that if no one else, at least his closest friend would support him.

"Dr-drama?"He asked, trembling.

She looked blankly at him. Asher was confused and angry; he had never seen her like this.

"Do you even know what I went through those weeks when you were not here? Of course not you don't know anything." He screamed at her.

"It doesn't matter if I was there or not what matters is your behavior around people who know you more than that girl. Can you compare her love for you with your mother's or your father's or even Blake and I? Can you? No!! Because our love for you is way too much compared to her's. Tell me if I and Blake leave you now forever and you get that girl in exchange, will you be choosing us or her?"
