Chapter 1

DEAN'S POV:

I was sitting on a park bench, playing on my laptop, my light green hair and green eyes sparking in the sun, I felt my hair, it was hot, I went to a bench under a tree, and continued playing, that was when I felt someone breathing in my ear, I turned to see a girl, pink hair, and blue eyes, she was munching on some cherries, "Hewo!" she exclaimed, smiling happily, "Uhm, hello?" I replied, "My name's Blossom!" she said, "My name's Dean." I smiled, she jumped over the bench, then sat on the ground infront of me, I stared at her, she was wearing a light pink dress with a red ribbon, and a cherry clip in her hair, a leaf from the tree above us landed on her head, I look up at the tree, then back at the leaf on her head, I reach out my hand, and take the leaf from her hair, her head pops up, then she smiles, "How old are you?" she asks all of a sudden, "I'm 15." I reply, "You're pretty." she says while tilting her head to the side, she smiles, I giggle, "How about you?" I ask, leaning a bit forward, "I'm 14." she replies, she jumps then hugs me, my face is in shock, I hug her back, I open my eyes, and look over her shoulder to see a girl, she's sitting on a bench across mine, reading a book, she has brown hair and brown eyes, "What're you looking at?" Blossom asks, she turns around to see the girl, "Valerie!!" Blossom shouts to the girl, the girl removes the book from her face, and looks at us, "You know her?" I ask in confusement, Blossom turns to me and says, "Yes, we're friends." she looks at the girl again, then waves, she waves back, gets up, then walks towards us, "This is Dean." Blossom says, pointing to me, Valerie closes her book, then smiles at me, a raindrop falls on my head, "Well, I better get going, it's starting to rain." I close my laptop and get up, Blossom grabs my laptop then runs away, "He-hey! Give it back!" I reach out my hand and try to grab her, "Catch me first!" she starts running to the exit of the park, I wave goodbye to Valerie, then chase after Blossom, she crosses the road, dodges some trees, then disappears into an alley, it starts pouring, I run into the alley, then see her turn a corner, I run through the alley, swing past a pole, then chase her, the rain makes the pavement slippery, and I'm wet, she enters the school gates, then disappears into the school, I run towards the school's front entrance, but slip and land into a puddle, I scratch my elbow, which makes me struggle to get up, I look up to see a girl with an umbrella.
