Hopeless Zack and Reader Angels of Death

Zack pov

Me and yn went back to the previous floor. Rachel's floor was a dead end. Then purple smoked filled the hall and the preacher was standing in front of us. Gray:" I see you made it to yn in time Zack. Yn you look well." He smiled. Zack:" Alright enough! I've had it with this shit! Tell us how to get out of here!" Gray:" I see you've lost someone what happened to Miss Gardner?" I sighed. Zack:" She tried to kill me & yn I...didnt want to kill her like that but I would kill anyone to protect yn." Gray:" It's a shame it came to that I was hoping you two could break her obsession." He sighed. Gray:"The exit is behind the stained glass in the chapel. But you'll have to hurry." Yn:" Why is that?" He held up a remote and pressed the button. Gray:" All things must come to an end." An alarm went off in the building and a voice was heard on the intercom. "SELF DESTRUCTION ACTIVATED PLEASE FIND THE NEAREST EXIT." Yn:" YOU DICK!" Yn lunged towards Gray. Zack:" We dont have time yn!" I grabbed her wrist and started running to the chapel. I broke the stained glass with my sythe. We started running up a long flight of stairs. The ceiling started caving in around us. We dodged all the debris I saw light coming up. We're almost out but then we ran into bars blocking our way. Zack": What the fuck!? No! The exit is right there I can see it!" I grasped the bars shaking them. Yn had an emotionless expression on her face. I grasped her shoulders. Zack:" Don't you dare check out on me now! We're so close!" Then I felt heat at my feet I looked down. There were flames surrounding us. I had a flashback of the last time I was covered in flames. I felt dizzy my vision blurred I could barely breath. I grasped my chest and fell to the floor bringing my knees to my chest. Yn placed her hand on my shoulder. Yn:" Zack!" Zack:" NO! I CAN'T BURN TO DEATH I CAN'T! "

Yn pov.

Tears started to leave Zack's eyes. He grasped my wrist. His eyes pierced mine. Zack:" Yn I cant die like this. I dont want to burn again! No! I cant burn to death! I cant!" He let go of my wrist and clenched his head as he placed his forehead on his knees. He started shaking. I havent seen Zack this scared since we were kids. A flash went through me of when that man set him on fire. That was the first time ive killed anyone. I didnt hesitate  when i murdered the man who harmed Zack. All i could think about in that moment was protecting Zack. Thats all i ever wanted to do. Was to protect him. I came out of my thoughts as more debris fell down around  us. I will protect Zack. Im not letting  this be the end for him! I'm not gonna let Zack die here! I gotta be strong for him!. How do I get us out of here!? I looked at Zack's sythe. Please let this work! I picked up Zack's sythe and swung it into the bars. To my amazement it worked the sythe cut off the bars and they flew across the stairway. I looked over at Zack he looked at me with widened eyes. Yn:" We're getting out of here!" He smiled at me and let out a relieved laugh.  I held my hand out to him. His hand wrapped around mine as i pulled him to his feet. His multicolored eyes pierced mine. Yn:" Lets go home." He kicked open the door. For the first time in..I don't know how many days fresh air filled my lungs and I saw the night sky filled with stars. We looked back at the building as it crumbled behind us. Zack placed his hand on my cheek. Zack:" Is this real? We really made it out? And your..Yn Your really here? Your back in my life again? Please tell me this is real!" I cupped Zack's cheeks. Yn:" Yes Zack I'm here. And this time nothing will tear us apart." Zack:" Promise me." Yn:" I promise Zack." Zack placed his lips into mine.  Zack:" I love you. " yn:" I love you too." Then we both dropped to our knees clutching the grass. Zack:" I can't believe we made it out." After we gathered our thoughts I called Liam. He was relieved to hear from me. He traced the call and picked us up.

I walked in my room and Zack was standing on the balcony leaning on the railing. I stood next to him feeling the cold breeze hit my neck.  Zack:" I can't believe this is your home."

Zack pov

Yn placed her hand on my cheek. Yn:" This is your home now too." I placed my hand on hers. Yn": Awesome fact I have alot of connections I know people who can fake your death to get the cops off your ass." My eyes widened. I thought about how many times ive had to change my location because of cops finding me. Ive never had a real home before somewhere that i didnt have to constantly fear of having to leave. Zack:" You mean I wouldn't have to run anymore?" Yn:" Ill make sure you'll never have to run again." A faint smile spread across my face. Zack:" Yn since you left the orphanage all I wanted was to find you to be with you. But seeing this  mansion that you live in. It's made me realize that alot has changed.  There's  alot i dont know about you now. Do i..even fit into your  life now?" Yn placed her hand on mine. Yn:" Zack there was never a day where i stopped missing you. Your my family and we've finally been reunited. You will always fit into my life. Your my home Zack." Zack:" Yn i want to have a life with you. Its what ive always wanted." Yn smiled. Yn:" And now we can have that. We will." I placed my lips on hers. We tightly wrapped our arms around each other. Yn:" Everythings gonna be ok Zack." I felt a sense of calm that I've never felt in my life and I knew that for the first time things were gonna be ok.
